Yeah, but other cities/counties that have rail, have land to build to go in all directions (like an octopus)...Honolulu only has one direction East/West corridor.
As a visitor to Hon...would you ride a rail to get to Kapolei or a bus/taxi to get to Waikiki? On the mainland & Europe, rail was developed way before cars became the transportation of choice....

Seriously? She must be to good to ride the rail. In the DC area I will take Rail over Driving any day.
