    Then i fell in love with it.

    Why the sunfire beats those old V8s

    Is i can still drive it to the beach and it doesnt cost me 100$ to get there.

    But those old beasts have their place and deserve respect all their own.

    They are different classes and cant be compared.

  • @MiTcH4X4L this wasn't an ecotec model, was eventually engine swapped to an eco. but "16's no problem" is just weak anyways, not even a fun car to drive. as it was in the video only 8lbs and trapping over 105. everybody knows thats not a 13 second car with proper tires

  • Why would you spend so much money of a car that doesn't even look all that great to start with and brag about high 13's and 14's.

    I'd do my reasrch frist and buy a cheaper car that does 13's stock then build it up. Buy an LS1 car. Camaro, Firebird, their cheap and the motor can put out more HP per dollar. Or something other then a Sunfire. Seems like a poor platform to start with. Then again. It's not what you drive it's that you drive what you got. Do what your doing and make it work.

  • @Sasunarulove Funny thing is. I have a stock Sunfire, and I'm beating decently tuned Subaru, 2001-2004 mustangs, Civics, and some of the other famous teenager cars. Sunfires are actually pretty beast.

  • @ben5531 how could you say that? just shows your ignorance. these cars run 18-19 sec stock. and psi is relative to the size of your turbo. this one is big. it's always had a bov and a "tuned" (lol) wastegate. pushing over 300hp for a long time now with 10psi

  • i have never heard of VTECH before, i could have sworn its vtec...this mustang guy needs to get a life. its actually the first time i see that such a honda fanboy actually uses mustang in his user name...does it really matter the horsepower per liter, or the fact that someone can beat you in a race? geez, i dont like cobalts or hondas, but this one time i went in a race with my friend's rsx making 320hp and 250tq and still lost to a cobalt. lol. stop hating mr mustangmikeca guy

  • Cobalt ss ( 205 hp) 5 vitesses, make 14.9 sec on 1/4 mile and civic 2008 SI (197 hp) 6 vitesse, make 15,6 sec on 1/4 mile also..... it not the 8 hp who push 0.7 sec faster the cobalt than the civic Si ! with 6 vitesses trasmy the cobal ss can do better !

  • Civic Si developing peak boost and low torque at 7000 rpm..... ecotec have less horsepower but developing more torque and give more longer horsepower in all rpm... ecotec developing70% of her horsepower between 2500 rpm and 6000 rpm.... and ecotec have more potential than all honda motors !

  • you can drop in a gran prix gtp v6 motor cuz my bro has got 1 and it's fast really fast. what you do is drop in the motor, bolt up the motor real nice, then you get you get bigger supercharger pullies, hook up a nitrous bogger system, then hook a nitrous oxide system and you should be pushing 300 to 380 hp to the front wheels. can you say burned rubber

  • i got a 2.2 eco 5spd as well but im debating whether or not its worth it to drop like 6 grand on a turbo+install for one of these guys.

    seems like for such a price i may as well save for a used v8 firebird or something.

  • 1. Hondas Version of VVT is better than GMs, do any NON forced induction GM engines have over 100Hp per liter? Honda has several

    2. A Civic SI doesn't have a turbo and is only 8/10ths of a second slower in 0-60. My bros RSX-S with the same engine is 292Hp on less PSI than the Cobalt SS
