  • Holy shit 250+ bucks that's a lot.

  • This is soooooooooo cool.

  • Anyone pleaese shed some light. I'd like to know that would the foam filler react with Nitro finish? I like the idea but don't want to ruin my guitar. Thanks!

  • How's the sustain on these things. is it improved?

  • hey this is pretty awesome is there also a way to use a model like that on a sg?

  • @msternal does it come with the foam filler?

  • Hey dude, I'm from Lima, Peru and I really want to get one of these. What should I do? and how much it costs? Thanks.

  • what are you saying at 1:52?

  • Get a Bigsby b5 with a vibramate.

  • can it go up?

  • @bullshitproof Yes!

  • does it stay in tune tho or is it like fender tremolos which dont

  • @mrmossyoak95 with some nut sauce (Big Bends Nut Sauce) some people say it stays better in tune than floyd rose systems. But you will might have to tighten the tuners on the guitar, just to make it not move, which might make your guitar out of tune

  • can you do this with any guitar with the same thing

  • Does it work on a epiphone les Paul?

  • @msternal Would this work for a ibanez?

  • does it work on a SG?

  • Want.

  • Ok, I'm ordering my Epiphone Les Paul 100 today. Will I be able to put this on it?

  • I love it, thinkin about removing an Original floyd rose on an HRR strat I own, I was thinkin about a Kahler bridge, but, wooow, FUCK THE KAHLER (in this case only!!! I have an explorer 85 with a Kahler, it´s locked and hard as a rock). This thing is what I need, and it looks superb, nothing to say about that, gonna check the price of it here in spain...Is there any distributor in my side of the planet???

  • Wow, that's ugly.

  • @RDArtist81 No uglier than any other tremolo.

  • Would this work on an Ibanez GAX70?

  • this is great!!! if it wasnt so damn expencive >:|

  • Can i attach a tremolo or whammy bar to a gibson meastro double-cutaway? if i can, how? plz respond

  • Does anyone know of another tremolo that doesn't need modding to be installed on a Les Paul?

  • whats with the background music? what is this full house? hahaha

  • a great piece of engineering :)

  • there is no locking nut, so there is a problem in tuning stability..

  • You ever tried installing one on a Samick Avion 6?

  • well made video. incredibly helpful

  • can you go high aswell as down?

  • can you bend us as well as down?

  • will it work on a studio gibson?

  • will this work on a hondo 2 lp guitar? would seriously love to get a whammy bar installed on mine :)

  • @upperthongjb You'll have to check the Stetsbar website.

  • @msternal is it one motion whammy

  • @msternal the guitar will out of tune, theres no locking nut.. what is solution for that?

  • @sirkamla It stays in tune without a locking nut. You can put a string lubricant in the nut slots.

  • @sirkamla Locking Tuners and a well lubrificated and slotted nut.

  • If you have questions, go to the website. They make about 6 different styles for gibsons, ibanez, strats, teles and more!

    Check There Website

  • This is BADASS!

  • Hello, i i'm new to this and i just want to ask if can if this can be used on a Stratocaster?, i know it already has a tremolo but i want one that can make a higher pitch and don't want to modify the body

  • @MetalInstrumentals - there is a Strat version of the Stetsbar which has exactly the same pitch range as the other Stetsbar models. The only thing to note is that a small shim is required in the neck pocket to allow for the higher saddles of the Stetsbar's Tune-O-Matic bridge

  • if im doing any wammy itll be a floyd floyd are so much better with the locking nut

  • Looks/sounds like a sustain killer to me (correct me if I'm wrong). I'd prefer a rout & Floyd installation myself...

  • @VicSoxUK - yes you are wrong. Independent reviews have noted no loss in tone or sustain with this unit. In fact some have said there might be a little more than normal due to the addiitonal mass.

  • oye donde puedo comprar este tremolo

  • what colour is yours? nickel or chrome?

  • Where can I purchase this tremolo system?

  • I wouldnt use it. U might as well put a real Floyd Rose on it.

  • Hey , for the gibson flying v, check out the zzguitarworks ez-mounts. they use bigsbys .

  • Hi guys,

does it work on an Ibanez as100 ?

  • hi can it be ajusted for different string guages?

  • anyone know where i can buy one of these in the uk? preferably a gold one to go with my LP

  • does the note go up aswell as low?

  • @McBlobby3 Yeah, it does both.

  • This looks epic, but wont it go outta tune without a locking nut? Divebombs and all dat jazz u know?

  • i have a schecter tempest standard, the distance from the bridge to the pickups is less then my lespaul, is there a certain distance needed to install on a stetsbar. Also it uses the same bridge as any les paul standard

  • can you install this on an Epiphone les paul studio

  • After using the stetsbar for a couple of minutes, how is the tuning?

Does the guitar stay in tune?

  • How about the tuning? Go out of tune?

  • Where do I get (buy at a reasionable price) a stetsbar to replace a tunomatic & stopbar.

  • Does this apply to bass?

  • i was wondering if i wanna get one of these should i buy a locking nut as well?

  • does it fall out of tune easily?

  • would this one fit on an epiphone sg g400 ?

  • is there anything that "looks better then a stetsbar" and omewhat works better then a stets bar but is mounted the same way an not a bigsby looking for somehting htta is locking

  • Is it by purpose that you installed the foam filler the wrong way?

  • @espenaarsvold No, just my first install and I didn't know it went the other way.

  • @msternal so i am buying a les paul kit, but want a tremolo on it. does this mean i can add my tremolo on it without having to mod the neck and bodie? if so win! this would be my first guitar i am building so i want that tremolo on but no holes etc, good vid! please reply i am desperate to know, my guitar store couldnt tell me because they suck!!

  • can u pull up or does it only go down

  • alot of money though 300 bucks

  • it's good for sg-s or a vintage vs-6?

  • @Csucsor0 Yes, just double check with stetsbar.com

  • @msternal

would this work with wrap round bridge?

  • Comment removed

  • the thing is...whammy bars were annoying to begin with...DIVEEEEEE

  • Does this means that you can remove the existing bridge and install a piezo? Is it possible at all to remove the bridge?

  • will it work on a gibson or epiphone sg

  • @msternal Can you pull up on the bar?

  • @Yourmomathon Yes, higher up than any other tremolo on the market.

  • do they make one for a string thru.

  • @21zband thats got to be cool. A whammy bar with strings built in but I can not imagine it actually working

  • @narto1223344 i meant for a guitar is string through.

  • can anybody give me an opinion of whether or not to get a stetsbar, or a bigsby?

  • @zziggymaan There is no range on a Bigsby. All it is good for is vibrato and short dips and pulls.

  • How does this trem compare to the Steinberger KBX, and also the Trans trem. Thanks..

  • What advantages/disadvantages does the Stetsbar have in comparison to other tremolo systems like Kahler and Floyd Rose?

  • @6672rock The best advantage is you don't have to route out a giant whole through the body and lose a ton of tone and sustain, plus lose all of the value in your instrument! There are no modifications needed. It installs to existing hardware. The Stetsbar can also be set up to give you greater high vs. low range. I also noticed it is much easier to keep in tune.

  • @themrmetallicaman1 No, I just lubricate the nut and it stays in tune. Some people install locking tuners. Mine are stock tuners.

  • can you dime squeel on these? i wanna buy one or, mod a paul to put a real trem on

  • @ravenshield56 Ouch! Don't mod a Paul.

Yes, you can get Dime Climbs on these. Especially with a solid body Les Paul with no chambers routed out.

  • @msternal where can I purchase one of these? i cannot seem to find them anywhere (the dime climb)

  • @ravenshield56 Check stetsbar.com for a list of dealers or to buy direct.

  • man your awesome, will it fit in an epiphone les paul studio??

  • GET A FENDER YOU STUBBERN TWAT!!!

  • tremolo sold in shops that sold musical instruments, or just somewhere specific?

  • Man, great job.

  • Could be an interesting addition to my '92 Flying V, but wonder how the sound would be affected. It looks better than Floyd Roses anyway, which I got sick of on my Kramer from not being able to change tunings.

  • doing that to a les paul ruins it the price will drop in value you need to put that on a fender or firstact guitar but not a 5000 sunburst les paul

  • raaawww i love it

  • will this fit onto the flying Vs

  • @Devdog1618 I think so. You should check with Eric at the stetsbar website.

  • @Devdog1618 Yes. Go to the stetsbar website, and find the Gibson styled ones, and look for the one saying something like "Gibson style, flat top"

  • Can you attach it to a Epiphone SG 1966

  • Would they work on a SG as well or are they just designed for Les Pauls?

  • how much are these?

  • how is this tremolo compared to the bigsby tremolo

  • @skylineXpert A lot more range than a Bigsby.

  • @msternal thanks for the info

  • you can use it lake a floyd rose or just lake tremolo?? can yo do like wammy with that?? thanks

  • How do you het this tone?

  • @m1j3 I'm using Carl Martin effects. Just Plexitone distortion and Classic Chorus.

  • these can be put on an sg....hmm doubt it acually, can it?

  • @sbtrackrunner yeah they can. go on the stetbar website and look in the gallery

  • be sure to apply lubricant to your nut LOL ;)

  • I'm not really rich but will this work on a jay turser Les Paul

  • Would this work on a string through guitar? I've seen hardtail versions but I don't know if that would work. Help is appreciated. Thanks,

    Mitch

  • ok i need a free wring diagram for somthing evidently a little strange, i want sinlg coil bridge and middle and humbucker neck, but i want bridge and middle on1 volume neck on another and a master tone standerd 5way switch etc. if anyone can hook me up pls do.thax

  • can these be attached to an epiphone les paul also?

  • @cocunut200 Yes

  • since the strings on the headstock of a les paul are not straight (3 tuners per side), i wonder if doing dive bombs would cause the strings to slip off the nut slots? i'm really considering on purchasing this...just want to make sure before spending dough.

  • @t0psecretshit I've never had it happen to me and I a ton of dives with it.

  • I got an epiphone les paul custom. Will it install onto that?

Also do u deliver to new zealand?

  • @MaidenFan24568 Yes it will install on an Epi. Check with stetsbar.com to see if they deliver to New Zealand.

  • @skylinexpert it works just as well as a floyd

  • Will this work on a string thru guitar? My schecter c1 plus has a TOM bridge and is string thru so there is no stopboar. Could this still work? Thanks,

    Mitch

  • @MitchRulzWorld I think they make one that will. Check out Stetsbar.com and send Eric Stets an e-mail.

  • @msternal Thanks for the reply. will do.

    Mitch

  • can you pull up on the bar?

  • its it like the floyd rose, because i want to know

  • ruined you les paul sad.

  • will this work on sg's

  • @sk8theimpossible yea it works i have one

  • @jerry97diaz are they worth it? like do they stay in tune with the lube like he says

  • where can i get one of these?

  • @sbtrackrunner if u r getting this for an sg u wuld want the stoptail model for gibson/epiphone style guitars. i hav a 1966 sg and i am getting the stop tail for it bc most gibson/epiphone have a stop tail which is the part that holds the strings

  • Never mind forget the Behringer, im getting an SG. I'm at the site at it gives me 4 options: Stoptail, Tele Style, Hard tail, and Strat style. im a noob at guitar and which one of those 4 would work with an sg.

(well i'm a noob at customizing a guitar anyway)

  • can this be put on Behringer MetAlien?

  • does it nock it out of tune?

  • it will also work on an sg right?

  • can you raise this tremolo????

  • Question:

If it doesn't have a locking nut like a Floyd setup, wouldn't it get horribly out of tune every time you touched the bar?

  • @telluridefan no if you just keep the nut lubed it works better than a floyd (smoother)

  • WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!?!?!

  • how much is the stetsbar tremolo

  • how much is it? can we pull it out like the tremolo one?? or just push it down?

  • i checked in the website of the stetsbar and its cost 220$ u can buy a guitar from e-bay in thet price

  • that's pretty cool, no need for drilling or anything. But that is definitely the ugliest whammy bar system i've ever seen.

  • Hey man i heard that if u use this trem on a 25.5 scale guitar u can only use .9 gauge strings. is this true?

  • hey have you heard of the esp ltd ec-50 well if you look it up it has a les paul shape so i was wondering if it would still fit on the guitar because i dont want to pay like 300 dollars and then it not fit.... plz answer and thank you

  • what is better? floyd rose or this?

  • floy this probably goes out of tune horribly

  • @osvas23 they go out of tune if you don have a locking nut

  • though this will make a huge difference on a les paul but it will make palm muting very uncomfertable

  • pangoy kang yawaa ka!

  • is it work with a same shape and look copy of the les paul?

  • also when you put a Floyd on you got to pay someone to do it and I only know 1 guy in N.J. that I can trust to work on my guitars his name is John at HY way music in east Brunswick

  • wow! 1 of the best thinks I can see is that there is no locking nut ! I know some tricks to keep them in tune winding the string so that the string comes from the top of the tuner instead of the bottom and other things however when you put a locking nut on it messes up the tone the feel and it just doesn't feel right it's like the string gets stiffer but not in a good way so every1 definitely needs to check this out

  • okay the LP's are nice, but what about a stret install on a Flying V with the big pick guard huh?

  • aright, les pauls are nice and all, but what about a strets bar install on an 08' Flying V with the full pick guard style.

  • This is one ungly tremolo.

  • does it work on epiphone SG??

  • @epilp1

dude stop telling me that, i cant find it anywhere on the internet!

  • to bad he didnt mention that these are almost 300 dollars

  • @ETskateGuitar77 They are expensive but worth it. Look at the price of a Floyd Rose, not to mention that you have to dig a hole completely through your Les Paul for any other tremolo system. To be able to retain the value in a Les Paul is worth the extra cost. Plus, it works better than any other trem on the market.

  • @msternal not to mention, that it has a bigger up pitch range than floyds or kahlers.

  • @msternal

    Hey

it's a nice tremolo but stays it in tune with everything what you does like kinda squeals and harmonic things?

  • @msternal do you need to drill a hole on the floyd rose

  • @ETskateGuitar77: he's putting it on a les paul. in the grand scheme of things, i don't think the $300 trem is all that important.

  • @ETskateGuitar77 True but just like anything, you get what you pay for.

However I wish I could afford all the guitars and gear I want. I do have a nice guild D-55, but I play a epiphone standard for my electric. Would rather have real les paul. I'm thinking about getting an esp ltd delux, they are really nice and half the price.

  • does this work on any les paul like say, a buckethead signature or something?

  • Do you need locking tuners for this tremolo or Non-locking ones like Gibson vintage (I do think they're non-locking tuners) keep the tuning well ? Because I wish to buy this tremolo for my LP but I'm also thinking about changing my tuners to Gibson vintage style ones.
