Thats a pretty guitar, i'm usually not a big fan of the rosewood fretboard but with the natural wood finish guitar body it looks nice. Is that an ash body?
It's a pretty guitar indeed :-). And yes, the body is made of swamp ash. I have to admit that when I was younger, I thought the traditional finishes (one colour or sunburst) looked better. But they usually have an alder body, instead of the swamp ash body. I choose this guitar on sound, the swamp ash body in my opinion sounded the best. One advantage of the natural finish is that you can see they've used a nice piece of wood instead of MDF lol.
i compared 10 years ago the boss chorus ensemble with the coolcat, the salesperson told me the coolcat sounded better but then i was influenced more for the "name" brand (boss), now i regret not buying the coolcat instead...
As far as I can remember I paid approximately 90 euros for it a couple of years ago (The Netherlands, US products are usually more expensive here than in the US). I have the 18 volt version, today versions use 9 volt power supply. This is not a real cheap chorus, in fact I'd say it's of professional quality, so I think 20 dollars is a real bargain for this chorus, even used (it's 70 dollars new on the zzounds website).
I think this is a very nice sounding chorus. A few years ago I was also looking for a Boss chorus (because it's the best known name) but my guitarshop owner said that I should try the Danelectro. He thought it was the best sounding chorus on the market. I made another video with different settings of the pedal, I hope it is helpful for you. Just click on my name (latest video).
which is better
the small cone or this cool cat?

satch plays that with the neck pickup ... youve got a strat, even better - put the switch in the 2nd position.

that the difference between a Chorus and a Flange?
thekingyugioh1 2 years ago
Chorus has a longer delay time, and no feedback/regeneration
petejt 2 years ago
Sounds ok - needs a little more shimmer.

It's a dc1. I don't know which one is better, I've never tried the cc1. I would suggest to test them both :).
