Not folk??? Lets ask what does Ritchie want. . . he is one of them, who made ROCK. he is a LEGEND. he made rainbow, (all the rainbows) he made DEEP PURPLE. Now he is doing what he wants. . . and i like his new music. so, go on and long live Ritchie Blackmore. I hope I'LL see your live somewere.
Even if Blackmore has turned 66, I think he could easily do a Rainbow tour again. The proof? Well, have a look at the Deep purple of today, his former band. They're still touring, and they're doing great!!! Blackmore turned his backt on rock the day his now mother in law took over the managing. She's a cunt of dimensions! Don't belive me? Read interviews with former 90s bandmembers! And just listen to this vid! Can Candise really sing??? Nope! She's out of tune!
i think i know what ritchies thinking now he was trying to create a band similar to prog rock legends yes but he needs better bass player and drummer maybe get jack bruce on bass and ian paice on drums also jon lrod on piano that might work if they can get together in their spare time i do think candice needs top learn more deep purple songs see what she will sound like singing child in time or something like that might work good to c blackmore playing a strat again its been 2 long
Ritchie is SO good on the strat, one of the best guitarists ever! ...pity he is P*ssy whipped into playing fold music nowadays. Cant blame him though, his wife (vocalist of the band) is 24 years younger and rather hot
only drummer who can hold the rhythm and give more than boring fills in while guitar solos are one and only Ian Paice (actually his fills in are always exciting)

I like some Blackmore´s Night songs ... but this mega-classic can only be played the way it was played in the original album ! Riffing through !

Turn it off already...way to massacre a classic...turn it into elevator music.

@GabrielDhalaman - Considering that "that lady" is his WIFE, Candice Night, then perhaps he does.
