No it is not scientifically proven that we are one race. We are one species, not one race. Most scientists that deal with aspects dealing with race agree it exists and the evidence itself which is even more important indicates it. The three main races are Mongoloid, Caucasoid, Negroid etc. You are just repeating "politically correct" myths. Race is much more than skin color and evolution didn't stop at the neck. There are known scientific genetic differences.

Yes humans comparatively to apes are more genetically similar. However, I don't know how accurate wikis statement is or where it is sourced. I'll have to get back to you on that. Race, Species etc are lines drawn by humans so there will be disagreement. Perhaps using the word tribe is easier since people don't like the term race. Whatever we want to call it is fine with me.

And that's at the heart of what I mean. According to taxonomy, all humans are of the same race. There are very real differences between ethnicities, but the use of the word race outside of taxonomy is purely from ignorance, as it's all about looks, and genetics cares less about looks.
