  • very nice mate ,just one question though how stable is it in a non powered float test ,ie if it was to stall on the water how stable does it float, and have you sincronised the downthrust with the foward thrust or do you operate them with individual controls

  • AWESOME job !

  • hahaha is a bed!!!

  • Your mother is going to kill you messing up her waterbed. LOL just kidding that is awesome and hope to make one for myself. What kind of skirting do you think is the best. Finger skirts or what?

  • thats so cool

  • only aisans can build something this cool, mightwana find a way to turn it on from the inside though

  • thats a very intresting hovercraft i couldn't find it anywhere on your website how many horsepower the back engine is i am building a hovercraft that is 4ft wide and 8 ft long and should be able to lift the 300 pound weight of the hovercraft and its engines and a two person payload do you think a 6 1/2 horsepower vertical shaft engine will be sufficiant for the lift engine please reply

  • While finger skirts may result in better air containment they have thier problerms as well such as less durability and worse snag damage as per your log senario. a bag works better with snags.comercial craft use a combo bag and skirt or a bag not a finger skirt. Thanks for comment.

  • I think you have it the wrong way around - a bag skirt with a 6inch tear will deflate your skirt and you will come off cushion instantly - commercial hovers use segments (fingers) at the bottom of the combo because 10% of the segments can be lost and the craft will still stay on hover - Can you find a commercial or factory built leisure hover with no finger segments - i can not

  • Would the skirt handle an impact from floating debris such as a log? - maybe a finger skirt would be more suitable for traveling fast on water - all commercial craft use finger skirts!

  • What do you think those RUDDERS on the rear are for?

  • thats cool. Im going to make a little bit more complex one. Im going to make one that you can steer

  • Nice to see an underestimated British invention skimming the light fantastic on jolly old Thailand - ferang designed and built or am I wrong?

  • Yes, see the whole video it shows it on water 40 mph.

  • can that gp on water to?

  • eyes rules !

  • lololol.. thts awesome

  • thats very nice :)

  • agreed

  • thats freakin nuts. me and my friend are thinking about building a simpler one but we might have to pull eachother.

  • that is incredibly cool.

  • Very Nice!

    5 *****

  • how many horsepower.. nice unit.

  • Thanks for all the intrest. (no waterbed parts all homemade). All questions answered see the video for site address.

    Thai Sean

  • Can u make a post in instructables ,com 4 how 2 make it?

  • lol that looks like an engine from a lawnmower

  • Paint it red and it should go a lot faster , also a white raceing strip should get you an extra10 mph .

    66six

  • Is that a waterbed mattress? Good idea there.

  • what kind of engine did you use?

  • it looks like a bed

  • 40 mph.

  • how fast does it go?
