This was so sad.I love animals and cannot fathom leaving mine.The people were porr and without the funds they had no way out. Our government didn't do shit for these poor people until the military came. FEMA sucked.They are not competent. These were forgotten people and this is supposed to be America?

@sissybearsheba Please, Human life is far more important than some animal. I would rather them save one of the many elderly or children than some dog. Then, if there was enough time they could save some animal.

@luvlife347 i'm not saying human life isn't important, but the people finding those dogs, that IS their job, not to find people, but animals. They knew where that dog was, if they saw a person, then they would help them to, katrina was horrible, and it wasn't just humans who suffer, but as i've said, the people who were helping that dog, came down there, because it's there jobs, not because they choose the dog over humans.
