Season 3 had some funny moments, but in my opinion it's the saddest and most heartbreaking season. Let's go down the list:

1) Dana dies from heart failure after a tough fight with breast cancer.

2) Bette and Tina break up because of Tina's re-kindled interest in men.

3) Shane and Carmen break up when Shane leaves Carmen at the altar.

4) Dana and Lara break up a 2nd time after Dana verbally berates her.

5) Helena gets heartbroken, played (thanks to Dylan) and cut off from her heiress status.
