Her death was tragic. Injustice? I don't know. If the driver of the Bulldozer did not see her (as he claimed) then it was a tragic accident. If he did it on purpose, it was murder. In any case, I don't think it was "injustice" which implies an officially sanctioned act by the government. (Certainly, murder is an "injustice" - if that's what happened.) If the Bulldozer operator had intent to harm or kill her - he should be in prison, yes.

I've also been reading the "Palestinian Papers", and was very disappointed to see how intransigent Israel was in the face of substantive Palestinian concessions on their part, especially concerning the issue of the "Right of return". In that case, Israel had (and lost) a clear opportunity to make real progress in 2 directions - The creation of a State for a stateless people, and long term security for Israelis. I fault Israel for losing that opportunity.

Actually, Lizzie - I HAVE trained Military Police, and that is almost what I would indeed train them to do - except for all the "other assholes quick" part. It's not "He's got a pipe - shoot him" It's "He's beating me with a pipe - Shoot him" Even a "teacher" should be able to see the difference.

@Stalicone Maybe you could come to one of my classes. You may learn from the students understanding and tolerance of other cultures. We are currently fundraising for War Child too. Perhaps you could explain to them how the Muslim children are not deserving of our help as they are morally inferior? See what reaction you get!
