P.S. Does anybody know what translation she is using? I have the NIV, and it doesn't use the words husbands or wives, but is generic.

A woman of dignity and honor~! Praise Yahweh for her obedience~as a woman CALLED to teach~this comforts my heart as I've wrestled with this 'calling' for

over 20 yrs.

Pastor John Osteen( Joel Osteen's dad ) who used to say, years ago, something like this about women preaches " Do not hold the women back.. Now it is time turn the women loose on the devil.. I say double Amen.

In that message, she exhaustively covers 1 Timothy 2:11-12 and many other passages. I've never found fault with any of Melissa's teachings. The depth of meaning in any word, letter or character is so profound, that all "preachers" should be fully acquainted with it, because they too often misinterpret and therefore drive people away from the truth. False teaching causes much distrust of the church, which is fully deserves, but the truth they are supposed to disseminate remains just that -- truth.

Try again Bruce, YouTube gets those glitsches at times, she's a true scholar of languages and the times I've watched her, I've never had any issues with anything she's lectured on -- and I do mean lecture, she doesn't preach, which is what drives so many people away from the truth at times. Preaching can be condescending when not tempered with some of the insights the Scotts have shared though the meanings of words, and individual letters/characters mean have depth as well.

I have heard plenty of aurguments that center around cultural hermenuatics (spelling) for female pastors, just none that are bibliclically based. However, her teaching is excellent! Better than any man out there. I have no choice but to make an exception in my mind for her. I just can't make a biblical exception. I am sure God is not displeased with her accuracy of teaching.
