  • hello Mrs.Ultra NSC, my name is Simon i am from Venezuela, i see this video and this can help to fix my XFX gts250 512mb ddr3, because my video card presents Artifacts, well i dont know if is artifacts, but when i turn on my pc on the bios screen show a lot blue points , when starts windows vista works with 8 bits of color it like windows 3.0. this video can solve this error ? thanks !!!

  • @jcsimon2006 Hi... im sorry to tell you that, but your Graphics card is to 99.9% Damage

You can try to take your Graphics card out and put it in an other Mainboard, and see if it stil lhappen, try also a Stronger PSU...

But if this all not help, then we can say good bye to your GTS250

Try this all first, if this all not help, then we can say your GPU or RAM Chip"s" are Damage. . .

  • @jcsimon2006 IF...just IF this all has not help, and you still got this pixel errors, than your GPU is 100% Damage

So when u dont have Warranty anymore, or befor you throw away this Card, the last help is to overheat the chip again, and hope that this will work. . .

Why overheat it? because the chip can be fix back to the platine again, for more info watch this and do it like this Video, BUT first take all parts and Fans out of the Card...

    /watch?v=eCYZ5ksExsk&feature=related

    Cheers

  • @jcsimon2006 For more info you can contact me all the time.. hope i could help... Peace

  • In NiBiTor, whenever I got to Tools - Read Bios - Select device I get an "Cant start driver : 1275" error. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • @GubzYES Posible reasons:

    1. Bad Driver = Reinstall the Driver"s" and Install the drivers again clean and fresh

    2. NiBiTor file is bad or not at Desktop

    3. Start NiBiTor from Desktop, then first klick at "Tools"..."Read BIOS"...Select Device"..."OK"...then go again to "Tools"..."Read BIOS"...Read into NiBiTor.

    4. You can also get your Bios with GPU-Z, save it to your Desktop, then open it with NiBiTor...

    5. for more help tell me all your specs...

    Cheers

  • @UltraNSC I found out that NiBiTor doesn't work with 64 bit, but I got my GPU BIOS from GPU-Z and managed to flash my card. Thank you so much for the tutorial!

  • @GubzYES Thank you also :)

But its strange...it worked for me also with 64bit OS

On 64 OS you can also klick at NiBiTor with Right Mouse then properties, and then compatibility with "XP SP3"...at this way Tools and other programms runs always like thei should run...

Ok, hope i could help... have fun and take care...wish u the best ;)

  • Thnaks UltraSNC i have OC permanently my GTX 460. :) now stable to 830 Mhz Core 1660 Mhz Shader and 1050 Mhz Memory. Thanks a lot!

  • thanks to this guy/tutorial i revive my gtx560 ti! many thanks from a pinoy fan!

  • hi there i got a Zotac GTS 450 with core810 Mhz and memory 900 Mhz... theres a Zotac "Amp edition" with 900 Mhz on Core and 1000 on Memory... do you know if i can Flash my Gts with the "Amp edition" bios?

  • @JJLL26 Hi and sry the late answer...

You can try to flash it with that Bios, but take the Original Bios also to the USB stick, so u can flash all the time back if something goes wrong.

But u can also just flash your Original Bios to 900MHz Core, so or so its better to take the Original Bios, modd it like u want, and Save it.

Just put also the Original Bios file also in the USB Stick, dont forget...

    Cheers

  • I have a question... I have two gtx570's in SLI, one is a Twin Frozr II, and the other one is a Twin Frozr III. the twin frozr III has a different bios. If i want to update the bios of the II, do i have to disconect the SLI connection?

  • @omgw00t Hi, as long u dont have them Watercooled, :P it is always better to disconect the other GPU Card, so you are more save... Cheers

  • great tutorial. +1

  • i've flash my vid card but the bios is bad when the pc restart not booting & i suspect that my vid card is dead bacause of the bios i've flash.. now i've tried my onboard graphics & didnt work.. the error is 0fl01 adapter not found.. if u hav idea bro plz help.. thnx a lot for the rply bro..

  • @helowag69 u had better take a look here at my video befor doing that...and u dont have backup your GPU Bios???

nvm, tell me your Graphics Model, Name, and all, i try 2 fing you a Original Bios, i have connections, but i can not promise you.

You can also open the Bios Files with GPU-Z to compare the Bios IDs, Board IDs and Adapter IDs, you can not flash a Bios fron an difrent card, it musst be the exsactly same !

Just sad that u dont have backup your Bios (!)

  • can i use my onboard graphics to flash the graphics card bios? nice vid & thnx man..

  • @helowag69 yes, normaly it shold work, but why you like to flash it with your onboard graphics, is your graphics card not working?

  • hello! i have a question, i get a black screen when i put my geforce 9800gt on my asrock g31m-gs is not the ram, is not the voltage, i think its the bios, help please!

  • @chnx84 can NOT be the Bios, when u start PC with that card, can u see something at Booting, or its black from begining on? If its Black from begining on, then your card is maybe damage.

Try this all befor u answer again: Check if your Motherboard PCIe place is damage, check the pins of your PCIe, try that card in a other Motherboard, try a other Card on the same MotherBoard, to see if its the Motherboard or the 9800gt...Try this all 2 find the problem, just then we can talk again.

    Cheers

  • @UltraNSC thanks a lot for the response man, i appreciate it, well, at the end i tried the Svideo TV out and i got a signal but low quality, the thing is, that i was trying to use an adapter from the dvi to vga cable cause the tv im using have only vga, im buying a dvi cable to try it in an other screen, u think thats it? thanks again man,

  • @chnx84 No problem ;)

Svideo was always a bad quality :P, but u can try a DVI cable... (No Try...No FLY) :P

Look that the resulution is the same as the TV, then u will get the best Quality ;)

    Cheers ^^

  • @UltraNSC thanks a lot man, Good vibes!!

  • Hi, having a problem my usb device is not booting for some reason. I've tryed 2 diffrent usb sticks but nothing. In my boot menu I've got options like: USB-FDD, USB-ZIP, USB-CDROM, USB-HDD. I've tryed all of them. Can somebody help ?

  • @MythPhaZeR Sounds like your Motherboard is not supporting that, but u can try to do that at an other System, take your Graphics Card out, and put it in a Newer system, then u can try again.

    Cheers

  • so im in dos but it keep saying nvflash can not be run

  • @yalman32 Then you do something wrong..be sure u did all like i did in the video, so if u did not all realy so like me...then it will not work..so u better dont do it...again for you, when u not be sure what u doing, so please let it BE, and try all first with (MSI AFTERBURNER), for the 4xx Series get MSI AFTERBURNER 2.0 and try all with that great Tool...you DONT need to flash it, all works also great with MSI AFTERBURNER...SO DONT TUCH THE BIOS when u NOT know what u doing ( ! )

  • This was an enormous help to me. This same technique can be used to raise the duty cycle on fans to 100 percent, insuring that they NEVER overheat. I actually used this to raise the fan speed on an 8800 GT and to underclock the GPU to 9800 GT EE edition speeds to insure that it runs as cool as possible. HUGE HELP.

  • hi, my nvidia gforce stop her job after change the heatsink

i need to change the bios?

  • @baba59190 No, dont need change the Bios because changing the heatsink...

Sorry to say that, but maybe you destroyed something while you changed the heatsink, happend 2 alot guys :P

    Cheers ^^

  • can I modify a Windows Vista LABTOP with a 7900?

  • @FriezaReturns00001 Sometimes you can modify a LapTop GPU yes, but not much, you can OverClock it a litle, you can also DownClock a litle, but DownClocking is not so important for the most peoples.

So if you like to OverClock your LapTop LapTop GPU then download the tool (MSI Afterburner 2.0) You can also download MSI Afterburner 2.01, i personaly like 2.0 more, cause the main window is biger ;) but 2.01 is also good for that all.

    Cheers ^^

  • @UltraNSC well thanks can you give me a link for that atferburner?

  • @FriezaReturns00001 sure:

    event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

  • @karthickkatta Hi...its NOT Posible that a software blocks or protect your Bios (!) Maybe you do something wrong...

Try to get your Original bios and Save it to th2 desctop, or try to save the Original Bios with GPU-Z (!)

How to save the Original Bios with (GPU-Z) you can see at my other Tutorial: /watch?v=jbhYo9dg6dE

    Cheers

  • Wrealy great tutorial, helped me with setting SLI on my mashine with 2 * 9800gtx+ when one of them was readed eas 8800gt when in put in SLI. F...... XFX cheaters.

    Cheers.

  • OK THANKS GOT IT OVERCLOCKED FROM 650 GPU TO 700 AND FROM RAM 800 UP TO 900 DDR2, SO NOT BAD THANKS AGAIN.

  • @DAVERUKY No Problem, Thank you also...have a nice time and Enjoy ;)

    Cheers ^^

  • help me please, how can i do a voltmod bios on 7900gtx i did it but didnt help me overclock higher! i change the volts in bios but still cant overclock any further??

  • @DAVERUKY i had the same card...and you can forget to do that...this card does not support it...Sry

  • Hi UltraNSC,

Thanks for the awesome video - very well explained!

I hate to sound like a complete Newbie, but I'm having trouble finding the same version of 'usbdos' that you show in your video. I can find other versions all over the place but not the exact one you have. Do you (or anyone else) know of a link that I could get it?

I can find other dos-on-usb packages but not sure if they all do the same thing and don't want to do anything different to your video...

    Thanks in advance!

  • @Icarus6490 i can Send u, write me your Email adress, add me here at Youtube, and conntact me :)

    Cheers ^^

  • geeeeeeeeeerman xD

  • could you make a video tutorial about how-to make a volt-mod on a standard GTX285 to manually increase the voltages and to reach a higher clock - such a video would be really cool and helpful for me (any probably for some other overclocking maniacs outside, too)

  • @MyPlatinum23 I got the GTX 285 not more...at this card u CANT get the Voltage higher with Software tools...at that card u need Sold..it calls a HARD MOD...

    Find out more at vvvvvv.XtremeSystems(dot)org

If u like 2 register there,,,then tell them i told u about and tell them u come from me: ULTRA-N$C

U also need Pacience....cause thei let not all in and thei let just real CooL guys in...cause thei want keep that Forum Clean

But tell them i told u about that Great Forum

    Chhers ^^

  • el Nibitor me dice un error

(error: Cant start driver: 1275 )

  • @atlonrg its not an Error from NibiTor...its mostly an Error of a bad driver or a bad System, it ca be more reasons, but its not NibiTor...NibiTor works "allways"

I Allready Helped alot here in Youtube or Privat...it was never because NibiTor...mostly it was other bad things like bad taken files or bad Downloads or bad OS Systems, u allways should do that at a realy clean system!

    Big Hugs

  • Posibel, but i also did flash a Zotac, but it can allways happen that it dosent work at some Cards, but i think from 100 Cards 80-85 will work ;)

  • I flashed mine using a windows version of nvflash. I voltmodded my 260 to 1.20v and am running stable at 760mhz/1600mhz/1210 core/shaders/memory. But at first i did a bad flash and it scared me like shit. on bootup weird squares would show up and do nothing. Luckily i had a 9400gt laying around and i used it to reflash again. But i had to set the Bios to Evga even though my card is Zotac. The reason is because Zotac didn't appear at nvflash

  • I have been building and modding pcs for years now and this was the first time I have modded the bios of a video card and your videos are perfect and well expland got me the mod i wanted i have overclocked it at 10% but some how the bios mod at 6% works better

never mind but thank you very much respect to you o just in case 64bit os use GPU-Z to save the bios in a bin file then import it mod it then save it as a rom

  • @bloodduty Thank u so much, im realy happy 2 hear that, Thanks for that Coments and all the rest.

    ps: UltraNSC :)

  • NP hanrinch, im happy i cold help u :)

So that the peopels know..the problem was a smal bug at the USB stick from him, all Formated and fixed, after that all works fine :)

    Cheers ^^

  • help! it wont let me flash as everytime it display error message like this"error: no nvidia display adapters found" and i only made 4 characters for the file name.

  • @hanrinch LoL u have a Nvidia Card ?

U musst be sure if u have a Nvidia Card :P

whatever..ill send u my Email, lets see what i can do for u ;)

  • it's zotac 9600gt. which i did exactly what 's on the video but when ever i enter dos mode it did notcome out any specification of the gpu. and when i put the cmd like c:\>nvflash dcgt.rom it display the same error message as above. however i did find some thing strange about nibitor as when i edit my bios file which it doeasnt display the desire vendor(zotac is out of the image :( ) only very few of brand appeared on the vender scroll bar. what can i do??

  • @hanrinch hmm realy strange, cause most privat messages that i had from peoples was also the 9600 series and was np with that card and all worked perfectly.

Next step try this: Take your original bios, put in the UBS, and type: nvflash.exe and your Orininal rom name, then write me here what will be displayed.

Tip: because it dident work, so i think its allready the Original Bios, set ONLY your clockrates and NOTHING more, DONT set the device vendor, JUST set the clockrates and try again.

  • ok i'll reporting the situation right away

  • @hanrinch allright...u also can write me at my privat acount at youtube, or if u like i give u my Email.

    Good Luck

  • thank you for spent all night to fix my problem

    thank you

  • it doesnt work still :(

    error message :

nvidia firmware update utility (version 5.40)

error: no nivida display adapters found

same old story and i only the core frequency and nomore. also i did try the original file i saved at the begining of the task and it seems useless when come to dos nvflash :(

  • @hanrinch hmm sorry for u, the next step u shold make, is 2 try this at a other PC, take your card into a other PC an try again, ifs same problem then its realy Strange.

Be again sure u did not set the vendor, just let all like it is and try at a other PC

Otherwise if u know TeamViewer i can take a look at your PC but first try next step at a other PC and tell me what will happen.

    Wish u alot luck mate.

  • does teamview fit in xp x64?

  • @hanrinch yes, as i know works fine.

  • Thank you so much for the help!

  • @lkstatus No Problem, i help where i can :)

    Cheers ^^

  • what is the minimum clockrate for 9600gt?
