It's a pity most people scrap their cars instead of repairing them. I just spent £100 on a car, which I was given and was bound for the junkyard. A bit of welding and general maintenance and it's now back on the road with a very happy new owner. Our governments have offloaded this "replace rather than repair" mentality onto us because it makes them lots of money. Remember the scrappage scheme? Not exactly good for the planet was it!
