Never jump out of a forklift, You can not out jump a Falling lift!!! This guy got so lucky that the lift didn't tip or he'd be a goner! If Your company does not have a seat belt on Your lift You should request one.

I'm not sure what accounts for this, but my guess is that they only calculated the weight of the load.  not the weight of the load plus the apparatus they attached to the forks. The combination was just too much...and the second the forklift moved, everything shifted off balance.

It isn't fake,.. nor is it the problem of 'high load'. This forklift is a 1,5 ton vehicle lifting a heavy [metal?] plate that should be lifted by a 2,5 or 3 ton forklift.. disaster waiting to happen..

If it was a fake, it was expensive, unless the countertop was damaged anyway. Did you notice at 00:14 that the boom started sliding off the forks and then as the boom hit the ground, the forks went back in?  I'll bet it was a real time-waster getting things back to normal. He should have had the mast tilted back and the load attached as closely to the mast as possible. It was the moment arm that got him.

1st the spotter didnt see the mast bend too much

2- driver not wearing seatbelt-he's lucky not to get squished on youtube

3- he should get fired to avoid getting himself killed

4- when u lift u can feel how heavy an item is and he should never have lifted it (obviously a noob)or a complete idiot

5-forklift capacity should have been checked

or get a higher capacity lift truck
