Secular music is just mis-used music. God created all music. Do we know what God was listenin to in heaven when Lucifer was an angel? I wonder what is going to happen in the future of music if the Lord does not come back soon. People are trying to dissect this into something that it is not. I know the Bible says to sing a new song to God. I use this in our Youth Group and the teens love it. The sound has changed guys. Churches are losing young people because they are trying to celebrate smoke from yesterday's fire. Let the teenagers have a revival of their own. Lives are touched by all kinds of music. I remember when I liked this music. Then I truly began to seek God without any influence from people or music. God showed me how wicked the music was. @laurissa88 Why did Jesus pray to the Father when he was on earth and say not his will but the Father's will be done? They are all the same but they're all separate too. Trinity is just a word we use to describe it. We don't really know exactly how it works but I think its a pretty good start to say He is three separate beings but all in agreement.

Secular music is just mis-used music. God created all music. Do we know what God was listenin to in heaven when Lucifer was an angel? I am looking for answers so that I will be able to give a plausible explanation when I am confronted about it. I certainly hope that there is a plausible explanation, but I have not received a response from the artist. As a fan I feel that Canton Jones owes us an explanation.

I wonder what is going to happen in the future of music if the Lord does not come back soon. People are trying to dissect this into something that it is not. I know the Bible says to sing a new song to God. I use this in our Youth Group and the teens love it. The sound has changed guys. Churches are losing young people because they are trying to celebrate smoke from yesterday's fire. Let the teenagers have a revival of their own. Lives are touched by all kinds of music. God made music.

I remember when I liked this music. Then I truly began to seek God without any influence from people or music. God showed me how wicked the music was. The beat is the message, the music speaks to the body and communicates the true spirit of it. The words are just a conscience message, but the true work is the message to the flesh and subconscience. This is why all rappers act te same, it doesn't matter what the words are, the spirit of the music is wicked.

The word is clear on these subjects and if you don't agree with God's word because of your love for something, then you are what the Apostle Peter calls willingly ignorant. You have to reserch and find that it's not just about the beat, but the spirit behind it. Go research, then pray, then read the word, then with wisdom, comment.

@breezyage i gt taught well at church....im in a group dat makes da same music..WE PRAISE GOD!!...so im wrng because im praisein GOD?..our church enjoys our music and our pastor has even said if we was in a church full of tradition the would outcast us bc of it...no where in da bible does it say theres a set a wa 2 give praise thanks or wuteva da case may be.....you say u got all these facts and such..but u have yet shown any scriptures of this type music bein wrng...ppl are stuck

Here are some scriptures. Psalm 96:1 " sing unto the Lord a new song" If a song uses All old beats, rythms, cords and styles of the World, then it is not a new song. Jeremiah 10:2 " Learn not the way of the heathen" We are not to be like the world, nor use thier ways in order to "bait" them. God is the Creator of the Universe, don't you think, if you are called tominister in Music, that He wouldn't give you a completely original genre? Or at least a new style? please continue...

Christian rap has been on the market since 1989 if not earlier, it's not new to Christian music. It's from the secular world, it's not a new song. It's obvious you love this music, so why try to debate? Just enjoy your music. Forget about the Satanic roots and inspiration the Secular wrld has and use the filthy inspiration towards God and See if he accepts your works at judgement. I plead with you, to at least digg deep into research and prayer.

@breezyage you know, whatever the style, it was PROBABLY inspired by secular artists. so any music that you DO like PROBABLY comes from a secular artist's influence. hypocrite much? and yes, CHRISTIAN people like this music, because they like the sound, AND like the words. the words are what.....? theyre praising God. @MrJojomc3 Internet was not inpired, it was built. inspired means inspirited/created by spirit. Music comes from the word muze. Who was an old "godess" that create literature,poetry and music. A hammer, a nail, a wrench , a calculater, and a computer are all common use tools. they have nothing to do with spirit. A spiritual tool is to be used they God said use it. and no other way. If you want to rebel against His word, and mix with the world, then go a head.. Revelation 22:11.
