Followed your instructions to replace 2 lamps in about 15 min for only $30.
To put this in perspective... A few years back I brought my Pacifica in to have 1 lamp replaced...1.5 hrs. Later i was good to go; obviously they needed to watch tho video as well. I can't remember what it cost me but I know that it was more than $30.
However, some models come equipped with HID (High-Intensity Discharge) headlights. If your Pacifica has HID headlights, you cannot replace them at home. HID bulbs are high-voltage type bulbs; attempting to replace them is dangerous. A sticker on the headlight cover labeled "Warning" will accompany HID headlights.
i got pulled over tonight cause the right headlight on my 2006 pacifica is out, no ticket, went to the auto parts and got the $16 light. don't have an owners manual (got the car used). the parts guy said i'd have to remove the air cleaner, but i just let him ramble on as i looked at those two screws that you decribed. thank you for your very informative video. i'll replace the bulb in the morning.
Thanks a lot for showing us this, worked the same on my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica! Sadly I stepped in to search youtube then it starts to rain... Found a tree and went there to get it.. Sadly my bumper was kind of in the way, I had to pull towards the outside of the car and push on the bumper & thank god I was able to get it out easily! While putting it back in though I worry it didn't snap in the clip well. But it was pretty sturdy in there, other then that I would rather do it then someone else!
Thank you I watched the video about a half hour ago. I just went out in my driveway and changed my headlight!!!!!! It took me about 15 minutes to complete. It's about 25 degrees here in Minnesota, I'm a 50 year old female. Thanks again your video was easy to follow.
You just saved me so much cussing, pulling, bleeding and dismantling! Thank you so
Much for posting this up! I was about to start disassembling the fusebox or the wheel well cover to get to that drivers headlight bulb because it didn't come out easy when I removed the two headlight housing screws. All it needed was a good TUG. Thanks again. God Bless you and YouTube!
Wow, I thought my headlight was being difficult when I tried to take mine out, I didn't know there was a clip and I changed the headlight by removing the air filter box from the throttle body and working with the headlight still in place...silly me, :P
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EXPLAINING IN DETAIL HOW TO CHANGE THE BULB BECAUSE I WAS GONNA START TAKING THE AIR FILTER OFF AND ECT, THANK GOD I SAW THIS VIDEO. THANK YOU, BEN. THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL.
Super helpful! This saved us so much time and money. The first time we had to replace a bulb, we ended up paying a mechanic to do it. This time we did it ourselves, thanks to you. Thank you!
I just want to persaonlly thank you for doing this. You maded it so much clearer than the owners manual. I only had 20 minutes to do this before heading out on an errand. Was able to do so before heading out - thanks to this video.
Yes...thank you for this video! For some reason I'm having to change my headlights more often than any other car I've had. And after the 1st couple times I knew that it wasn't supposed to be this difficult, even my veteran car friends had trouble with helping me. Another note to the guy below "dclifton53", I had the same problem with the gas pedal for awhile, one day it seemed to stop...but it was sure annoying.
You saved my backside with this video. I had that light housing unscrewed and COULD NOT figure out how to get it all the way out. I even popped some of the clamps off of the front headlight plate!!! Crazy. You're the man for making this video and I HIGHLY appreciate it. You and Youtube rock!
Thanks so much for this step by step video. I have bought the bulbs then thought how the hell do they go in. This saved me much time and effort. Again, Thanks.
@2kargarage1 you have a "dirty throttle body" I just bought 2005 with about 75K gas pedal was sticking bad, I would burn rubber everytime I took off because I pressed so heard. Anyway went back to dealer and its a common problem with the pacifica

Awesome video, you really helped me even though I don't own a Pacifica. I got my first care and I'm just looking for small things like this to prepare for :)
Your awesome.. thanks a whole lot.. Just like others that "spring clip" was messing me up.. even had my neighbor try and help.. We couldn't figure it out until I watched the video.. Thanks again.
Once you remove the two screws holding the headlight assembly in place, stick your fingers in between the headlight assembly and the flexible bumper plastic, grab onto the assembly with one hand and give it a pretty good yank, the other hand can help pull and guide at the top of the assembly. Once it pops out of the spring holder you will still need to jiggle it to get it out from the flexible trim. You will need a #20 TORX bit to loosen the screws holding the bulb assembly in place.
Outstanding video! my girlfriends 2004 Pacifica had the same bulb out. I thought I had to take the air box and all this other stuff out! I'm so glad I went here ans saw this. Good Work!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I think I'll change both headlights together to try to match up the life of the bulbs, but you just saved a bunch of us a ton of time, money and unnecessary tickets! You're the man!! : O)
thank you very much for this video. We had an appointment to take the car in later today but something told me to search for it on youtube, and we cancelled the appointment because my husband is doing it
okay i just replace my two low beam bulbs.... my only trouble was taking out the lens your video help out a lot... i replaced both bulbs within 10 mins... thanks for you help.
I know you've already received a bunch of thank you comments, but I wanted to add one more thank you to the list. I appreciate you taking the time to make this video and sharing it with everyone.
Last time I did this I was clueless and it took me over an hour to do - apparently, I removed a lot of stuff that I shouldn't have. With the help of this vid, 10 mins tops. Needless to say, THANK YOU!
Thanks! I change my headlight a little over a yr ago on my 2006 and I forgot what I did, all I remember is that it took me like an hour to get that damn thing out.
Thank you for posting this video....My husband is deployed and I had to figure out how to do this on my own and it took me about fifteen minutes from start to finish...I also like that I was able to show my daughter that girls can work on cars to...So Thank You!!!
Thank you! I took the difficult route and removed the air box on the passenger side and the fuse box and battery on the driver side. This is much easier!
Kudos. Nice information. I am now weary of buying the higher dollar bulbs as I've been averaging about 4 months per set. $120+ per year for bulbs when normal ones last over a year?... No brainer in my book since the "middle of the road" bulbs aren't that much brighter in my opinion. Thanks again for taking the time to publish this video.
The part not told in the vid is that you need to have smaller (to a bit on the smaller side of average) hands (or very long fingers) to get in there and turn the bulb.
I had to have my girlfriend reach in and twist the bulb...just a small FYI.
hey! Thanks sooo much for posting. Really helped this "man" who is terrible at this kind of stuff. Even got a kiss from my girlfriend!!! Thanks again...
hey! Thanks sooo much for posting. Really helped this "man" who is terrible at this kind of stuff. Even got a kiss from my girlfriend!!! Thanks again...
I am so grateful that you posted this instructional video!! I thought I was going to just go under the hood and be able to twist and snap like my Nissan. Yeah, not so much. I even wen to the local auto store for help and they wouldn't touch it. The owners manual was worthless, as it didn't describe the lock mechanism nor how to remove the light from it. Like most, I couldn't see paying $75+ to change a light that cost $10 and that I could change myself. So, THANK YOU again for this video!!
I just finished changing my low beam headlight in less than 10 min. thanks to this most awesome video.! I am a 55 year old female who was irked that the Chrysler dealership was going to charge me $60.00 plus parts to do this. Givin this economy, I am thankful for the kind man who made the video.
Thank you! My wife's 05 low beam went out and I bought the bulb, went to the car and decided to google how to do it. I was getting ready to remove the air filter to get at it. Thanks again!
just changed the bulb with the help of this video. THANKS. Labor alone should save $75. you helped solve the problem of pulling the headlamp unit out because of that spring loaded clamp.
Just bought the wife an 06 and was actually wondering how tro change the buld yesterday while we were buying it.. Great video, thanks very much for taking the time to make this video...
Dam good look on that information i did mine in about 5 mins the only thing i had a problem with was getting the actual light bulb to snap into place. I got the light unit out with no problem it was just the actual bulb wouldn't snap back in place so i just tried to lock it in as good as i could. Thanks
Thank you for the video! This is the third set of head lights my wife has been through in two years! Im putting this set in! I refuse to give away another hundred dollars! Thanks again.
Thank you for the video. Great idea! I'm changing my low beam today and was wondering how to do it. Since I have one burned out blub, I decided to change both low beams and get it over with. Thank you again!!
Thank you sir, this vid helped me out.

Thank you for this video. I'm a woman and I did this by myself in about 30 minutes. Only because I was a little nervous.

Dam good look on that information i did mine in about 5 mins the only thing i had a problem with was getting the actual light bulb to snap into place. I got the light unit out with no problem it was just the actual bulb wouldn't snap back in place so i just tried to lock it in as good as i could. Thanks
