The line "To me he's one of the heroes of this country, so why's he all dressed up like them old men?" chokes me up every single time, and this is no exception. I also have to agree that songwriting does NOT get much better than this. Guy Clark is one of a very small handful of living songwriters that I would consider legendary. He is a natural treasure and I'm honored to have met him and seen him live twice. Well done!!
