Ey I live there iv seen that prison. They say it haunted because two inmates took three officers hostage and the military put two rockets into the main tower and kill all of them.
I've been through the prison a few times.thislast time will be my last! My little boy and i were the last ones through the prison that day...nothing too weird until we went into the "tunnel".We made it about 10' into the lit tunnel when the lights went completely out in the whole building..never did see a chubby gal run so fast out of that pitch black hole in the wall!Asked the lady at the counter if it happens regularly..she said sometimes..asked if there were screams this time too!never again!
bodies42099: the feeling there was very heavy, regretful, sad. I offered some tobacco in the Indian way as I was taught, and a prayer for them, and it seemed to help a little
When I was 9 or 10 we had a family reunion up in that area and we all went and took a tour of the prison. They had a mannequin of a prisoner in one of the cells and it scared my grandma to death! Good times...
i lived in Deer Lodge for almost 10 years and I just moved here to Helena last summer. me and my mom got to go on a ghost investigation with this one group, and it was truly an experience.
we didnt really get a lot though, my mom caught a picture of an orb and there was a spot in the shower where it was really cold, but if you move over a foot the coldness went away.
i too live in montana Pablo does anyone know if there are haunted houses on the flathead rez and im trying to start a paranormal team here too if anyone could help me that would be great
i live in montana and have drove past that prison many timea but have never been inside. if any of you expierience anything there will you please post a comment on this video so i can know i want to go there if it really is haunted

I shut myself into the *Hole* and was able to catch this EVP on my digital voice recorder.... it was Awesome!!!! I plan on doing more investigations. I've had quite a few personal experiences there. If you would like to hear the EVP just go to my Utube page. Thanks and good work~

I was in the prison about 2 days ago, and it was interesting. I did NOT like the hole one bit. Every time I peered into one of the door holes, I got the feeling of something staring right back at me.
I'm planning on doing a night time walkaround (no lights) sometime soon.
It would have been nice, I agree. Unfortunately, we didn't get anything that night. Not every night is a success, as you well know. If you have gotten some good evidence, you should put a video together and post it. It would be cool to see what you got!
Nice video of darkness, where is the ghostly evidence?? The Old Prison is a very cool place to investigate and have captured amazing Ecto-mist photos and EVP's there. It would hav e been nice to see some kind of evidence of their trip there.
yeah I went there on a senior trip last year and some of up had paranormal activity. We had a couple of pictures; one had alot of 'orbs' and the other had a picture of a guard on top of the tower.
4:30 I was in that room for 5 mins without the lights out it was creapy
