Walker Hound Love'n Life

We found an extremely emaciated, heartworm ridden, flea-infested walker with a broken tail and broken spirit to match. She was on the road and wandered in front of our car the first day we lived in NC. She is now heart worm free and the sweetest doggy soul you will ever meet once she gets to know you. We named her Dolly. Is it the norm for them to be extremely protective of their people?

my walker coon hound was fixed, could'nt have puppies so she adopted Kittens, rabbits, & anything else that looked like a baby to her. She passed away this spring. It took me a while to get over that. I loved that dog.

I have two walkers and a lab, love them all, the walkers are such clowns sometimes, so loveable

Redbone I would say for sure! Found this by accident. I have a redbone who is the greatest! Sounds like we are working on some noisy pups there!

we have a redbone/walker mix from wyoming and shes the best dog ever and she lives in the bay area with her new sister dixie a walker hound
