Why must their be a war over which couples are better? I personally, prefer McDean, but I don't hate on Chrolli or Nuke. I think in certain British soaps, the actors put a lot more dedication and effort into the characters they portray, but hey, I'm British, obviously I'd say that. Anyone who hates on Guy's or James' acting ability, I swear, you will lose the will to live. If you dislike the characters okay, your opinion, but the actors ability is a no no. I'm a McDeaner and proud to be~

@Stomehouse84 Excuse me? Clearly (and I mean this with no offense) but you have clearly not watched McDean's FULL storyline. There never was a dull time with them. It was always Craig's toying with Sarah and JP, Kieron, Spike, the queer bashing, family troubles, etc. Whereas Nuke's storyline did have it's dramatic moments, but it wasn't as RAW and EMOTIONAL as McDean's I'd have to say.

Interesting comparison.

With NUKE, Noah couldn't say "I love you" but he was totally "out" in his relationship with Luke.

With McDean, on the other hand, Craig COULD say "I love you" but was totally "closeted" in his relationship with John Paul.

Even though Jake's (Noah) acting here pales in comparison to the three other actors, this NUKE scene was quite a powerful one in their story.

I remember watching this awhile back, and I'd only seen JP/Craig's story, so I think I was a little biased towards them.

I started watching Luke/Noah's story a few months ago, and they're really quite sweet.

So this is one that I really can't choose between. Both couples are adorable...and, well, yeah. I just like both these scenes in different ways. Hard to compare really :)

I don´t see any appeal in the Nuke storyline. And the actors...well...they can´t bring myself to believe them. Sometimes I find the lines cheesy and one of the actors is kinda irritating. *shrugs*

Maybe it is cause I watched McDean's story first, but I really prefer the Nuke storylines to the JP/Craig ones, as I feel the Nuke storyline is much more massionate.

The entire JP/Craig is adorable, but I feel as if the Nuke one is better (personally, of course) because of their pure passion and there is no sneaking around, it is just pure love.

I still adore the Hollyoaks storyline, but the As The World Turns story is just pure...love. There is nothing more I can say. I just love Nuke!!

Nuke definitely. They are slow, sweet and simmering with passion just below the surface. There is almost a real love between them and they act out their feelings so realistically! I think it's marvellous that they didn't sleep together in over a year....it shows that their love is very deep, transcending the purely physical!!..

I like JP and Craig and was forever watching them, until I discovered Nuke......Now I can't imagine watching clips from any other couple..

Nuke is my first love because I watch it first, and then I landed onto the grace land called "McDean" and everything else fades away. How can you not love McDean? JP and Craig are just amazing and their chemistry is out of this world. And I *personally* think they are acted out better, and given a more complicated, captivating and passionate storyline.

It will differ based on each one's opinion, but for me, it's McDean forever and always. :)

No contest, Mcdean wins hands down. Nuke are sweet but I've not been interested enough in them to watch all their clips on ATWT even though I watch all of the Nuke verses Mcdean clips.

however I have watched the Oillan & Maxlago vid clips and both have been as amazing as Craig/JP. Just like Craig and JP I feel that christian/ollie & max/lago are a forever couple. I get tingles when I watch these 3 gay couples. I don't get that at all with nuke. And together over a year and no sex?! Please!!!!!

I LOVE Nuke! I know that john paul and craig are aloud to be more physical but thats cos in the U.S its kinda a first, having a gay couple on daytime tv, its a new thing over there, so they are taking it slow, which is why nuke aint as physical. It can get annoying but I also love the intense slow burning luke and noah have going on because they are taking things slow, so much more then craig ang john paul. I love john paul and kieron, but I still have to say that Nuke still comes out on top! :)

I know the McDean thing gets repetative but isnt that how relationships are some times. Some couples have the same fights over and over. I do love watching Nuke eveyweek but for me it is simply no match for McDean. There is just a passion between John Paul and Craig that is undeniable. The only time ive seen that passion between Luke and Noah was after they went swimming together.

You know what I have noticed? A lot of the times, people tend to pick JP and Craig because they actually kiss. I have seen a lot of the McDean story and all of the Nuke, and in general, I really honestly like Nuke better. The chemestry is always hot and there, plus they are sweet. And you really see them grow together, plus I think it's more realistic. (My opinion) McDean, I love the guys, it's hott and great, but sometimes I'm just like '...oh please' More so than when Nuke doesn't kiss.

Plus, guys, Luke became 'legal' in May, which means he's only been able for a few months. With this being a new thing in America, I really don't think they are going to take it fast, but they are still doing amazing. It's slow and sweet, frustrating, but rewarding. We may not SEE all the kisses, but we know they are there and they are getting more frequent. Luke and Noah never cease to amaze me. Craig and John Paul feel like Deja Vu.

personally, I prefer NUKE! I like the contrast between them. One wears his heart on his sleeve and the other is more introverted, like the strong silent type. The other couple is more similar ,therefore, there is very little contrast in dynamics. To me, NUKE, is a bit more realistic: loving without being "histrionic" about it. Both couples are very nice but NUKE shows you don't have to obey the "stereotype" in order to be effective.

Regardless, they boys are adorable and the fact that the storyline is going so slow makes them more endearing to me. However, I feel bad the actors are getting critised for the storyline. Blame the producers and writers.

I just love JP and Craig. There is such a natural feel to both the scene by the window and in bed. You almost feel like you're spying in on private moments.

Luke and Noah's moment was nice but a little too much syrup.

It wasn't as simple as that. Craig loved Sarah and JP. While it was clear he was falling more for JP than Sarah he was too scared to admit to things. Craig is very complex and I could go on forever but I'll say Craig definitely loved him enough when he had to come clean; he redeemed himself in that last week, willing to sacrifice normality with Sarah and his family for JP. JP became his no1 priority. Anyway, I like both moments, but vote JPC. It's a beautiful moment plus it had neck kissing!
