I would kill to find a good phonograph, peferably one that played records though. I have only ever found display pieces....is very sad.

im a long time collecter did something similer with my 8th grade class and they were astonished lol im only 13 got a wonderful collection 300 blue amberol cylinders 200 78s 40 machines and they were really confused about the machines

good to see someone passing on the history to these young minds...have to wonder if you held that edison cylinder up in front of a room of young adults how many would know what it is, not many would be my guess! good work keep it up.
