@crystallinentity I'm aware of that. Let's also say that the center of gravity is completely outside of itself, and it take all the aircraft gyros on this planet to balance such an object in space. But lets face it, they mucked up a great design with all that on there.
@Bla31n Maybe so. But even in the realm of the show, the idea that the nacelles(supposedly)need space between them is irrelevant, for the same reason that they are travelling at warp 13, which is supposed to be impossible. Obviously some things are supposed to have changed by this timeline.
@finalfrontier1701 Obviously they changed the warp scale again, that was my point. However, they never said it was back to the original one. What is your source for that? Sounds un-cannon.
@sporekid2012 You double check next time. This IS the enterprist ncc 1701 d and it IS from the next generation. Just one episode, but from tng all the same.
cool!

In reality, that ship wouldn't fly. The warp engines are obstructed by that third nacelle which makes it impossible to generate warp speed.

@Bla31n Actually, in reality, no Star Trek ships fly... because they aren't real.

@crystallinentity One of those things is a reversion to the TOS warp scale which did not place warp 10 at the top of the chart.
