On July 5th in Fullerton California a mentally ill homeless man was beaten into a coma, then later died in hospital for resisting arrest. The most brutal blows were struck after he had lost consciousness.

In the City of Garden Grove there is a Mexican restaurant that feeds the homeless once a week. You have to have a permit to do so. The proprietor has this permit and is feeding the homeless legally. Even so the City of Garden Grove has tried to shut it down.

OK so who made this food that you're feeding the public? Is it laced with poison? Who prepared it? Is it sanitary? Was the City informed of this food stand? Was there a permit issued. I'm sorry you should be arrested, and if this was a terrorist act and someone died from eating this food you'd be yelling at the police for not arresting them. Idiots, the American public is shockingly naive.

One last thing; Know your rights, not just US Consitutional, but State, and local ordinance. A law-enforcement officer is simply a minion, a pawn (I know, I've done it myself). For all the bluff, all you need to worry about is the Judge. If you live and act by this, most officers sense it, and act accordingly. It's a "chess game", where you never want to allow your opponent, but keep your strength at front.

Making feeling the homeless illegal = an act of evil.

Orlando has a problem with homeless downtown. These feedings don't bother anybody as i've been down there during them. The city believes these draw the homeless there to stay. I totally disagree with that because they would be there anyway.

Many people want the poor and homeless to be invisible; to not dare to eat, drink, sleep or exist outside of approved shelters and soup kitchens where the pious can go if they feel like dealing with the downtrodden for a day. Having these people treated as equals, who deserve respect rather than "charity" is alarming. It messes with the established idea of the poor as a pitiful mass who must always be grateful and subservient to their benefactors.

Hey, when you go to court, file a motion to dismiss, on grounds of no corpus dilecti. then file counter charges against the city for conspiracy to neglect its citizens of their pursuit to health, life, etc. Not that it will do anything, but you have to use their laws to fight back. you could sui for unlawful arrest, also, as a statute is not lawful by our constitution, which is common law. 7th amendment.

There pathetic law means a group or person must request permission if feeding more than 25 people. From what I understand, the city only grants this request to 2 groups only twice a year. In essence once every 3 months out of the year, no sure on that. What food not bombs is doing is to show how this country has declined and does not care for its people. Food not bombs deliberately foods more then 25 people and knows they will be arrested. Some great people.
