You're the one who is misunderstanding terms. Vegans don't eat meat, or any animal products. They are herbivores. Vegetarians are mostly herbivores because vegetarians will eat eggs and dairy - not all of them will. Omnivores are creatures - this includes most humans - who eat meat along with fruits and veggies and grains and dairy all on the same plate. It's got practically nothing to do with choice unless you make it about choice.
