Very nice ideas for Vergil moves. I wish they included at least a playable character of him. But then again, Dante uses about the same moves as Vergil had, it would be hard to make more moves for Vergil. Very nice anyway.

Nice motion mod.

But I wouldn't bet on Vergil coming back, even if he does you will wish you hadn't asked for it because Vergil is on such a pedestal now it would be impossible for capcom to give people what they want out of the character. His sheer level of overblown admiration will be his undoing just like Darth Vader.

Especially since his story is pretty much dead beyond the DMC3 plot.

@darthkahn45 How is his admiration overblown, he was and is a very cool character, ppl wouldn't admire him for no reason, for me he is just the better of the two brothers, not evil only misguided and his style is just badass. I really dislike when ppl say he is over hyped and were whiny fans but I bet many of you are fans of somebody as well with just as much passion for them as we have for Vergil.

@diplomats031 I won't deny that but my personal gripe is that 3 came along and a lot of people who didn't care about the series before got into it and it created a false impression. If 3 was the first one I played it would be difficult to not see Vergil as a more significant character that he was actually meant to be. 3 was only ever meant to be a one off prequel, the backstory of a rivalry that had already been decided. We were never meant to see him again, it was just the story of Dante's past

@darthkahn45 I can respect and agree with you to an extent, I think that Vergil may have not been a character that was supposed to blow up the way he did but somehow he did, his fanbase is probably as large as Dante's, and for that Capcom should actually be proud, they developed a very popular character, even though I feel the same way you feel for Vergil about Nero, I wont look down on his fans, I really hope that Vergil gets brought back with a solid back story and gets Yamato back.

@diplomats031 Regardless of how I feel about how he is regarded he was without a doubt the most badass character in the series and their story in 3 was amazing.

But something I always thought from the start and something 3 really played on was that Sparda had twins and only 1 would untimately be his successor and inherit everything and that man was Dante. He proved time and again that he was the chosen of the 2. I just didn't like the idea of taking that away and giving it back over and over

@darthkahn45 I can agree with that my friend, it is clear that Dante is the chosen one of the pair and is the star of this game, and it seems that Nero will be taking up a bigger role in this as well, so it seems that Vergil may be gone for good and like you said maybe its best that we leave him in all of his badass glory as he could make a come back in dmc and look at what they did to Dante, wouldn't want that for Vergil lol, a twilight wannabe

Vergil was fighting Prince of Darkness and we don't know what happened after that but we both know that even though Vergil was on "true dark side" before DMC3 ever had a story,the only thing you base your theory is by his broken Yamato.

Hardly an evidence.

Nero has a demon similar to Vergil's Devil Trigger.His sentence "Power,give me power" was quoted as well.

There are more facts that go in Vergil's favor then against.

@WeskerUmbrella4 actually no, i never said i base anything on the broken yamato, i based it on the fact that dante beat his ass in DMC1... as in the first one. Dante kills Nelo Angelo and then figures out that he is his brother vergil, corrupted by the prince of darkness... so yes we DO know what happened after Vergil fought him... maybe his spirit lingers on in Nero, but his body is destroyed...

Whatever Dante destroyed wasn't Vergil,maybe was corrupted,but he still lives.

Vergil killed Dante in mission 7 (DMC 3) but it only awakened Dante's devil inside.That is what happened to Vergil as well.The only thing i figured out from this game is that sons of Sparda can't be killed.

Even less affected when they are in hell,which is where Vergil surprisingly ended up anyway.

First of all,and i say this again,Dante "kills" Vergil and in DMC 3 Vergil shows up again.No deal.

Vergil then kills Dante but it only awakens his Devil Trigger.No deal.

Final showdown between those 2 and still no one was killed.

Why do you naturally assume that DMC 1 or 2 story was the truth but not DMC 3 ?

We didn't see Vergil die.

We saw both of them die but no one stayed dead.

@WeskerUmbrella4 I think you're forgetting something. Devil May Cry 3 was the Prequel to DMC1, and since the events of DMC3 happened before DMC1, i'm going to assume that the final showdown between Vergil (AKA Nelo Angelo) and Dante was in DMC1, since that's what the game has shown me...

I don't assume that DMC 3 isn't true, as i've never said that, I'm only going by what the games tell me in Chronological order.

just for the record: devil arms are weapons, like rebellion or yamato, not people

He gave his amulet to Eva as a gift which she in turn later separated and passed to her sons. Both Vergil and Dante received a powerful, enchanted sword from their father, Rebellion to Dante and Yamato to Vergil.

Sparda died because he chose to live a human life,he wasn't killed.

Eva (Dante's and Vergil's mother) was killed by demons and this is why Dante hates Mundus.
