Lacey's great, her testimony's honest, glad she met Jesus! But Jesus didn't die on the cross to save us from our PAIN He promised we would have pain in this world. Following Him will reduce selfish pain, but not all pain. He died to reconcile us sinners to a holy God granting us eternal life with Him. (on the grounds that we repent and trust in Him) It's this hope that helps us have joy in the midst of pain. Bad teaching causes disappointment which leads to falling away. Not the biblical gospel

I encourage you to talk to God and ask him questions that have been lingering in your heart. Lots of his answers are found in the bible, so if you have one near you, you could start checking out anywhere in the new testament (especially matthew, mark, luke, john, where jesus talks alot.) @KayBearGlam I totally understand you, trust me. Just that feeling of not knowing, the feeling of not understanding and being alone. I know I may sound cheesy, but truthfully, God must be heard, he must be felt. I suggest prayer, in all seriousness. We don't know how He's going to act, but we can tell when He does. I was once in one of those states, and prayed for a long time, but eventually he turned up, and one crazy day I went to bed being happier than I've ever been. God bless, good luck!

To communicate with god you have to have faith and a moment of love and sincere desire to speak with god if this urge is consistent the lord wont let your prayers go unanaswered...I mean I was at the point of praying 5-10 times a day...then after a month of that god started talking to me on a daily basis...even sending an angel into the room I'm in whenever I pray...jesus exists and jesus saves...

@bookcreator ..you have probably heard this before, but "faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God". Christians(like everyone else) will unfortunately remain imperfect and bent towards sin until Christ returns. Word of God can fix that faith problem though.

This is such a beautiful, heart-wrenching testimony. Sadly, her story is not uncommon and I pray that more people who find themselves caught up in the despair of depression and anxiety, of loss and emptiness, see this video and that it leads them to ask Jesus into their hearts. I lived with a chronic anxiety disorder for 6 months this year - it was all day, every day and the symptoms were so severe. God lifted me out of it completely, giving me instant healing. Now he owns my heart. =)

Lacey is my idol. I'm 13 with depression and thoughts of suicide. And just a few weeks ago the depression was swarming me and suffocating me and I thought about getting a rope and hanging myself. And god saved me. I went onto YouTube checked my subscriptions saw a new Shane Dawson video about suicide and I really feel that that was gods way if showing me that it'll be okay and that I'm not supposed to die yet.

This is beautiful! Despite my agnoticism, I look up to Christians for being able to have someone to look up to and to trust. The only thing I have to complain about is how narrow-minded some Christians can be. I wish I could have that faith, but I find it incredibly hard to see how God, and especially Jesus, could exist. However, I'm not an atheist because I admit I don't know everything and that God might exist. I don't know but I'm glad Lacey found something to save her from suicide.

yeah, wow that's amazing, can't believe she was moved by it. When I watched her talking at a concert, I wanted to cry also. Yeah, God has helped me through a tough time as well. I was going through depression and heartbreak, and I had so much pain that I desperately pleaded to God to take the pain away, and I believed in him before. My friend just had an experience at one of our band practices a few months back where she couldn't stop randomly crying, we felt bad but i had a feeling that it was finally the day that God would come clear to her

if you watch more videos where she talks about it she talks about her sin and what she did wrong. and if you claim to be a christian you shouldnt be judging her she has a true story she was saved and God saved her from suicide, he stopped her from doing what she was planning on doing the next day.
