When I was in 4th grade,i was in this video.the blonde girl with blue top.I miss my twin baby brothers and my SIDS brother too.I love them and my entire family were extremely happy when this became official -Jessa D
My cousin lost 2 babies, with 2 different pregnancies and everytime, she cried, and maybe that pain could be dulled with a birth certificate. I believe in this bill.
I never even got to see my baby. She died half way through the pregnancy due to a chromosome problem. The doctors put me under when they removed her. The deformities were so severe I never even got to say good-bye.
As a mother of a still born daughter, I am so grateful the state of Utah issues birth certificates. Every state NEEDS to do this for mothers. We need to heal and that piece of paper is tangible proof that we are mothers despite not having that baby in our arms.
I saw the article in the New York Times about the Miss Foundation and the Missing Angels Bill. This is fantastic. What an incredible video! You are doing great work that is so important to so many!
No he is pro life. That means we are for life of the mother and the unborn babies. The mother's are victims as well as the baby both need tender love, care and a chance to live.
Richarson vetoed this bill. He vetoed grieving mothers' ability to request a still birth certificate (after paying for it) from the state, despite unanimous support from legislators in New Mexico.
My sister died in 1961 when I was a very young boy. I remember my mother sobbing uncontrollably. I remember the sadness in my house. The constant grief. My mother died a few years ago, and before she died wanted to talk about her "little girl." I'm sure she would have wanted her birth certificate if it was available.
What a magnificent presentation of an unbelievably tragic experience. The legislation you're proposing is common sensical, and clearly what is just and fair for all women, and of course, their families. Congratulations on a clear, concise, and powerful message.
This is amazing! What a powerful video. A person would have to be a complete moron to oppose this. How in the hell can they mandate burial for a baby they say didn't exist? If men were giving birth to dead babies, it would be a whole different story...women wouldn't have to be fighting for this!
Veto Bill Richardson for recklessly, carelessly, and ignorantly vetoing this legislation in New Mexico! Strong women- UNITE and DEMAND an apology from his office!
Please, everyone..... send this to your state legislators - those in power need to hear our message.... to find your legislator go to: (sorry - have to spell it out) h t t p colon backslash backslash w w w dot vote - smart dot org backslash index dot htm

My daughter Andrea Ranay was born still on November 7, 1991. She was born at 32 weeks. I gave birth to her and I deserve a birth certificate.
