Mostly race is being questioned simply because there is an Asian actress in it. The racism here is that people need it to be about Maurissa's race rather than the story for it to make sense.
Love the fact that the girl is also a Doll on the Dollhouse. She is also Joss Whedon's sister in law, and the techie girl in Epitaph Two: return, and Kilo of course..which happens to be one and the same but i just noticed :P She was part of Victor's gang. I too am a big fan of the show Dollhouse and feel there should have been a lot more seasons to it

I've been watching Dollhouse with a friend who is a fan of the series. The closing song just made that moment in the story more poignant, and was an absolutely perfect choice. I spent the last few days with that song haunting me, as aliciarf2003 was, and was stunned to learn it was written for the episode. The official video complements the content of the song while paying tribute to the series. What great work from all involved.
Wow! I love seeing things like this, not sure how I missed it! Truly a great show and quite possibly the best thing that Whedon and crew have molded into greatness.
@WhySoSerious55 Sorry, but I can't leave that comment without asking, how can you think Dollhouse is better than Buffy or Firefly? It was nowhere near as good. I love Whedon, but Dollhouse was weak. It had it's moments but it was not his finest work, in my opinion that will be Firefly, or it would've been anyway had it not been cancelled. But each to there own, Dolhouse wasn't bad, it just wasn't up there with his best, and his best is pretty great.
@Browncoatt22 No, you are right to question. Firefly is right up there next to Dollhouse, but naturally there's that unsatisfied feeling due to it being cut short. Dollhouse, to me, was one of those awesome art pieces that was pretty much allowed to flow front to back with little filler. Though Buffy was also awesome, there were a lot of "Monster of the Week" episodes. Even the most basic Whedon stuff, however, is far better than a lot of the garbage out there now.
@WhySoSerious55 The moster of the week episodes were my favourite ones, the little morality tales. The main plots dragged sometimes. I think in it's short run Firefly was still the best written and acted piece he has put together. I miss it the most, but that might just be beacause it "died young". Dollhouse lead actor was a bit poor i felt, sorry Eliza. Thing I love about Whedon fans is you always geta smart thought out reply, never a trolling angry response. Aren't we all a lovely bunch? :D
@Browncoatt22 You jerkface! Haha just kiddin. :-D I think part of what made Dollhouse more special for me was the well placed soundtrack and how much it kinda made me compare that world to this one. (Along with Miranda in Firefly.) Too much prodding and tampering.
@WhySoSerious55 It did have a great soundtrack, Firefly had a beautiful score though, the funeral music in "The Message" was impossibly beautiful. I notice no one ever has any love for Angel as a show, I guess it gets lumped in with Buffy, despite being quite different. But yeah I love the whole idea of tampering too much with human nature and seeng the horrific results, I loved the epitaph episodes of Dollhouse, and I can't help but feel they were helped by Dushku no longer being the focus.
@Browncoatt22 I think I had the effect of "I loved everything a little bit more than the last thing." Buffy was great, but Angel was better for me. Firefly trumped them both, and Dollhouse just kinda edged out Firefly. I've been known to switch order of things over time, however. haha Right now, I just look forward to the next bit of genius.

@Mastersun88 Yeah I know, there bringing back a couple others too. SGU is getting the final episodes out in about 2 weeks. I'm not sure what else is coming out tho, I'll surf around and TIVO anything that sounds good. I don't think fox will care either way. Fox has left many tv series with me so disappointed that I'll wouldn't expect TSCC to stay on for more than one more season. I can be hopeful tho.

This is beautiful, and haunting. It really proves just how much people treated dolls like disposable and easily replaceable. They become who you love, but you never really love them.

I've been watching Dollhouse with a friend who is a fan of the series. The closing song just made that moment in the story more poignant, and was an absolutely perfect choice. I spent the last few days with that song haunting me, as aliciarf2003 was, and was stunned to learn it was written for the episode. The official video complements the content of the song while paying tribute to the series. What great work from all involved.

@WhySoSerious55 Sorry, but I can't leave that comment without asking, how can you think Dollhouse is better than Buffy or Firefly? It was nowhere near as good. I love Whedon, but Dollhouse was weak. It had it's moments but it was not his finest work, in my opinion that will be Firefly, or it would've been anyway had it not been cancelled. But each to there own, Dolhouse wasn't bad, it just wasn't up there with his best, and his best is pretty great.

@Browncoatt22 No, you are right to question. Firefly is right up there next to Dollhouse, but naturally there's that unsatisfied feeling due to it being cut short. Dollhouse, to me, was one of those awesome art pieces that was pretty much allowed to flow front to back with little filler. Though Buffy was also awesome, there were a lot of "Monster of the Week" episodes. Even the most basic Whedon stuff, however, is far better than a lot of the garbage out there now.

@WhySoSerious55 The moster of the week episodes were my favourite ones, the little morality tales. The main plots dragged sometimes. I think in it's short run Firefly was still the best written and acted piece he has put together. I miss it the most, but that might just be beacause it "died young". Dollhouse lead actor was a bit poor i felt, sorry Eliza. Thing I love about Whedon fans is you always geta smart thought out reply, never a trolling angry response. Aren't we all a lovely bunch? :D

@WhySoSerious55 It did have a great soundtrack, Firefly had a beautiful score though, the funeral music in "The Message" was impossibly beautiful. I notice no one ever has any love for Angel as a show, I guess it gets lumped in with Buffy, despite being quite different. But yeah I love the whole idea of tampering too much with human nature and seeng the horrific results, I loved the epitaph episodes of Dollhouse, and I can't help but feel they were helped by Dushku no longer being the focus.

@Browncoatt22 I think I had the effect of "I loved everything a little bit more than the last thing." Buffy was great, but Angel was better for me. Firefly trumped them both, and Dollhouse just kinda edged out Firefly. I've been known to switch order of things over time, however. haha Right now, I just look forward to the next bit of genius.

@Mastersun88 Yeah I know, there bringing back a couple others too. SGU is getting the final episodes out in about 2 weeks. I'm not sure what else is coming out tho, I'll surf around and TIVO anything that sounds good. I don't think fox will care either way. Fox has left many tv series with me so disappointed that I'll wouldn't expect TSCC to stay on for more than one more season. I can be hopeful tho.
