Buster is running a Cummins L10 325, I should know, I OWN THE TRUCK!!! And spent 9 months fitting the L10!! The first vehicle (seen @ 1.42) is 'Trixi', owned by 'JCB Pete' and running a Leyland 680 Power Plus,(not a Gardner as the comentator stated) the 2nd is running a Gardner 6LW. I have been heavily involved with all these vehicles for many years. The announcer is avery knowledgeable man and made a simple mistake, what he said does tie in if you pay attention!!!
@MAPFWH I think he was refering to one of the other vehicles, my brother owns Buster and it's definately a Cummins! At the moment I believe there're only a couple of Explorers with this engine, I know he put a lot of work into fitting it - more than worth it though, the power (and the sound) is amazing!
@motorgeek81 Clearly says "Another example here, Gardner engine again", around 21 seconds..... I think you need to have a word with him! (Unless he was referring to the red one previously... the announcer doesn't tie in with what we are looking at)
@MAPFWH Leyland 680 or 680 Power Plus was a much more popular choice, Geardner is too slow reving and makes it like driving a Pioneer, which was built with the Gardner 6LW. Rolls 220 or Cummins NHK220 was also popular.
