Sorry for the late answer...just didn't see it... Handgunhunting is not alowed all over Europe! Getting a single shot hundgun is similar to getting a rifle: you need to become a member of a gunclub, shoot there for 12 month on a regular base and then you can get a license (called yellow WBK). With this you can buy two "less dangerous" guns every six month. For "dangerous guns" like shotguns, AR15 or handguns you need a "green WBK" AND a seperate permission for each gun...fucking politicians!
I can tell real quick what Freedom Arms needs to do with their single shot handgun. First it needs a brake that Gary Reeder Custom Guns offers. I've never shot a more effective brake in my life. Next it needs both the GNR cartridge line and the JDJ cartridge line as caliber options. Then some nice laminated grips and sling swivel mounts. After that you would have a masterpiece.

good point. but the problem is every job (and i mean every job) i have applied too has not either wanted to higher me or not contacted me (and i'm not cut for millitary dispight my blood line.)

Have you considering shooting another revolver or caliber for the time being until your luck changes re: the job situation? Good Ruger Blackhawks can be had in .45 Colt and .44 Mag for far less than $700 and they will take any animal in the lower 48 with correct loads. I have several and love mine - they're all all the horsepower I want.
ha...it takes a little more to offend me. but i've been looking for jobs (pain in the ass so far) but i would get a .40 cal or a .45 acp but a .454 would bw fun...but i've been looking for an m1a rifle to save up for.
@drstrangeman It's a shame that you had to wait 11 months for that bit of advice. My god man, I feel like I'm in a time warp! I had a freedom arms 454 revolver but it proved to be too much for me to handle. The Taurus is better suited for handling the violent recoil of the 454 Casull but its no where near as nice. The Ruger Super Redhawk is another good one. I recommend hand loading lighter loads and working your way up to full power to find your limit with any of those guns.

i own 2 f/a a preimer and field both 454...they are nice but a tuned blackhawk will shoot just as well. no it does not have fit and finish to come close. at the end of the day its the score that counts or the one shot kill. btw this moron can take his box stock 586 or his smith 41 and from 30 feet cut cards on edge. this moron can shoot a hand tossed quarter out of the air with his 686 6 inch with 148 gr hbwc....
Maybe so, if you think a FA revolver is a Blackhawk at three times the price. If you ever get a chance to shoot one, you may feel differently - Jeff has never liked Contenders, but he loved the FA.

Why don't you try the good old fashioned "work and SAVE" method! It works for the other 290 million productive tax paying Americans in the U.S.
And if you want a high-performance tool like a .454, why do you expect to pay bargain prices? As a general rule in life, you get what you pay for.
