The only thing I can thing of, and it sounds nuts but it worked for me. Get another cat. I had the same issue, got another cat for him to play with. End of problem.
my cat gizmo is FIXED has a nice clean litter box and it is in a private dark place well he decide to go to the bathroom in my fiance basket of clean clothes. I have NOOOOO idea why he is doing this he is definitely not in Heatttt. Sad to say we might be getting rid of him. Our other cat named honey who is a girl cat does not pee anywhere else other then her little box she is a good girl.
I'm thinking that maybe she has a nervous condition which is causing her pee everywhere. I know this sounds ridiculous but it could be because she not use to this new environment. Hence she started peeing after u moved to Texas this is most likely the problem. I know u love your cat and I know cat piss can be a motherfuckin pain, maybe u could research different methods of controlling the situation or talk to a vet. Hate to see her go.
my cat was doing this too we went and bought this stuff from pet co or pet smart that you spray on the carpet or where ever you dont want them to pee or poo and they wont go, but she could be sick , stressed ect. i was about to get rid of bob too lol oh they dont give a damn about you putting their nose in it lol btw you remind me of noah off noahs ark (you look better) but the hair, skin.
Before you get rid of the cat, "Yahoo Answers" it to find out what could be causing it. My dog was angry about the NEW dog. I was just dog sitting temporarily and the situation rectified itself. But that's what I found out. And you said maybe that's why she was put out by the previous owner, but wouldn't you have discovered this problem before now? My instinct says it's something else. Check the web, buddy.
Oh no! I have a cat, too. Since Oreo is spayed and you keep her box clean, she probably is just seeking attention. Maybe it was the change in environment after the move to Texas. I think taking her to the vet is a good idea. Just to make sure she doesn't have some type of infection. Maybe you can even call a vet to ask some questions. Good luck!
She’s in heat!!! What she is doing is spraying her territory to get some nookey... unfortunately if you don't "Fix" your cat at a young age they will spray/piss... shit stinks I know but she can't help it because she’s horny!!! Sorry... I figured that out the hard way too!
@Seduction702 Yes its still possible for her to be in heat after shes been fixed. Spading or Nurturing a cat isn't a 100% grantee he or she wont still be in heat (That's what the vet told me about Shadow (my kitty)) especially if a cat is fixed AFTER the age of one.
Seduction I have been watching your vids for a long time. In the begining of your first vids you spent alot of time with Oreo. Cats are very onery they will do anything to get attention and affection from their owners, maybe you need to show him more affection or it could be your work hours not having enough time to show him the love you use to. Oreo was your opening act in the begining LOL !
My mom is a major cat person, she's been through it all when it comes to cats, i'm gonna get ahold of her and ask her whats a good thing to do to get oreo to stop that, cause if your anything like my mom when it comes to her cats i know that the last thing you want to do is get rid of your kitty. I'll let you know asap.
It may be a urinary tract infection. Make sure the litter box is big enough too. Sometimes it takes awhile to know why they are eliminating outside of the box. It took my the longest to figure it out...I went from regular box...to electronic...to the disposible that lasted the longest. The issue was the size and mine had built up crystals in the kidneys.
i had a cat that did that. the vet said the cat had a urinary tract infection. sometimes they have crystals that build up in their urethea (male cats) . my male cat pissed everywhere even one day hopped up on my bed, looked me in my eyes and peed right in my bed. he needed some type of medication for that. good luck.
Lmao i hate cats. I really dislike them a loooot cuz i'll be damned if my pet gives me an attitude, they have the meanest looks and they only go to you if they want food smh. Dogs all the way!
You got a disgruntled woman living in your house! No but really she is lonely and just because you come home does not mean she is over it so thats why she is pissing. Get her a stuffed animal but sleep with it a week or two to get your smell on it; once that happens play with her with it and after that leave it for her when you leave.
Animal urine is a strong smell and extremely hard to get ri of. Not sure why she is peeing on your clothes but more than likely its the detergent you use on your clothes that she likes. I recommend keeping your clothes off the floor because of the smell in them she feels like she gets a choice. For my dogs I made eye contact with them when they did their business and sprayed them with a water bottle. Keep the cat. It could be stress an isolation too.
Dont get rid of her plz just find a way to get thru it....Thats just what cats do, they jump on shit they arent suppose to,piss where they arent suppose to. cats arent like dogs u can train them to understand "NO,Bad cat" cats mind tells them they can do watever they want. Just dont keep ur clothes on the floor and close ur closet door or something
Urinary tract infection...yep, my Foodle (Fox terrier mixed/w Poodle) is fully house broken but 1 day she had big puddles in the kitchen & hallway. So we took her 2 the vet spent $70.00 for meds in a week she was straight.
the cat is peeing because she probably isnt fixed....my girl cat used to do that too until she got fixed. try to find places that fix cats for free if you can. if you cant just fix her. Its not that expensive. good luck
My cats name is oreo too I just yelled at her for peeing on my jackets next time shes out I love her but I cant take it
