um yall are looking for bad guys where there are none. im a member of the national guard, and its our job to help out in emergenices. if yall dont want our help, just say so. we will go and do something else. i see this crap all the time, and it pisses me off. i got more medals for helping people my entire 6 years i have been in the guard. im not trying to opress you, im trying to help you.

Humvees can go where civilian vehicles can't but they could have just loaned the cops some. Anyone know if they were packin rifles or other handguns openly? Some heavy recovery type military vehicles prob could go through deep snow. Seems like for actual rescue they could have had snow cats(tracked light vehicles) out there brought in from Alaska where our cold weather training bases are

Helping dig out in an emergency is one thing, patrolling the streets enforcing law is another!

it says "SECURITY" which is patrolling. Also that humvee cannot go through 5 ft of snow.
