I found using L1 and x to be beneficial at kicking them of the platform. then using common Triangle attack as soon as they spawn. just keep at it. smashed a controller yesterday and nearly the new 1 today. took several attempts. maybe 250. 3 hours. But only took 50 seconds to finish if you can get in the zone.
@tratorta You start with the rage of the gods fullfiled since the start of the challenges, what you have to do is to not to use it since then, or simply charge it again

@Ourbigmistake This is extremely tough challenge in terms of difficulty, small platform plus satyrs = frustration. In GoW3 there are 2 or 3 challenges (of Exile) which I found as frustrating as this one, so the developers definitely enjoyed ratcheting up the difficulty.
Ahh.... F*ck this challenge, if falling off the platform won't kill you then losing your health will, and I don't understand how you're still able the hit them into the air when you're nowhere hear them while I'm standing right next to them and can't even to sh*t, so far it's seems pretty glitchy to me when they barely tap me and o go flying off the platform. Ahh... F*ck this challenge.

Finally completed the challenge of the gods last night. I tried several tactics but the one that worked best was double jump, hold L1, face the satyrs and mash that X button. As soon as they started to respawn, jump back up in the air and repeat. I ignored the dogs. It must have taken 40-50 retries but I refused to give up!
The Ascension of Artemis▲ method didn't work very well for me.
I can't be bothered with the max out or speed run trophies so that's me done with GoW1. Next up... GoW2.
This challenge of the gods deal made me angry as hell wanting to throw my freaking ps3 through the wall (yes...through it) but I finally got it, man this was one of the most annoyng challenges I ever played on a videogame, not fun at all, but I wanted that trophy! the 8th one was the worst for me, but thaks for the vids man!
I just finished this horrible,terrible,atrocious,abominable challenge. I took me nearly an hour. My hand is trembling, I think I need to get my blood pressure checked. You should get a platinum trophy just for finishing this challenge. I now have 91% of the trophies, only need the speed run trophy. I need a week off after this challenge though.

@Bru7aLis Yup, I can confirm this method. I've only tried it three times so far, but it seems alot more efficient. Bu then again, I'm sure it also depends of what you are most comfortable with and which moves you are used to. Bu, once again, I find this method easier! GL!
@bystanderg Yeah, thanks to your guide I was able to platinum all 3 GoW's in under a week. I managed GoW1 in an afternoon. Titan mode on GoW3 took me a little longer however ><
@holdupnowyall I take it you played GoW1 in easy mode then. It's virtually impossible to max out weapons & magic playing through in titan mode. and you certainly can't max out with a speed run.
@gavdann1 I always do my first run in whatever mode will rack up the most trophies. If there is difficulty trophies involved I play on the hardest difficulty then I clean up the rest on easy.

Idk what the fuck is going on but i always get like "almost there" then they grab me and flip me off the edge. Ive watched like 10 vids and tried many different methods. @DjFr3QaZ0iD The height is dependant on the number of kills only. Jumping up doesn't effect it but if you jump off the platform it will fall back to it's starting level.

FINALLY got this. Probably died 100+ times but here's wat I did to make it.
I had the Rage of Gods meter full & used it first, kept pressing square to knock as many foes as I could, then for the rest I did the L1+X move until I finally made it.
I know some people save the rage of gods towards the end but I thought this would at least give me some hope to see the bottom of the platform quickly. lol
These fucking goats are the only enemies that actually piss me off. Not the big ass trolls, doggies, centaurs etc... JUST these goats with their kung fu shit.
Wow. I spent more time on this damn challenge than the other 9 combined. I only need two more trophies for the platinum, but now I don't want to play it for a day or so.

@ROYALTEEEE1 It might worth trying a few of the alternative strategies, proposed in the comments. One is to block the attack, timing it so you can knock them back with the counter attack. Another method is to use Cyclone of Chaos (L1 + Square) and Achilles Flip (Right analogue stick + X) to try and be always moving and on the attack.
this took me sooooo long i had to leave my ps3 on over night because of no save option, took 5 tries the next morning but i got it lol this mode is what made the platinum so hard:)

The two goats spawn on the left side. STand between them and rotate back and forth and you can knock them off on the first L1+X almost every time. Did this in about 45 seconds it was so easy I just did it until the platforms were level and walked across.
A quick tip to keep your sanity while trying to beat this challenge, because it WILL take you a LOT of tries...
I kept "Who's Line Is It Anyway" running in the background. It is REALLY helpful to have something funny like that going, because your sanity is more than likely going to be threatening to run away after trying this challenge for the 100th time...
Just beat this challenge after 6 hours (split up over two days). I tried almost every strategy that there is, with varying success, but what finally worked for me was exactly what bystanderg has posted here, use L1 + X to launch yourself and enemies into the air and then quickly hit L1 + X again.
I found that I could often get two or three Apollo's Offensives off while in the air. What seemed to work the best was to aim your attacks almost solely at the satyrs.
I've only failed this challenge about 37 times so far, but it's enough to determine that only the top sadists of the video game industry can come up with something like this.

I used L1+X and everytime I evaded also X to launch the Enemies in the air.

I failed 1000+ times and spending hours on this shit,
But I read one of these comments...
He said: first change your blade by pressing L1+R1 ( the big purple blade)
Then try this move: jump + hold L1+ triangle
It's a very effective move!
I just failed 2 times and I didn't have rage of gods! :)

So how does it raise? Does it raise the more kills you get? Or by how long you are standing on it? Does it raise when you're airborne?

@DjFr3QaZ0iD The height is dependant on the number of kills only. Jumping up doesn't effect it but if you jump off the platform it will fall back to it's starting level.

FINALLY got this. Probably died 100+ times but here's wat I did to make it.
I had the Rage of Gods meter full & used it first, kept pressing square to knock as many foes as I could, then for the rest I did the L1+X move until I finally made it.
I know some people save the rage of gods towards the end but I thought this would at least give me some hope to see the bottom of the platform quickly. lol
plus just in case I go on a lucky streak after.

i had my power save on my ps3 and u cant turn it off until u quit ur game. so i couldnt set it down & come back to it later. 6 HOURS!!! WHO WOULD DESIGN SUCH A THING?! this challenge (#10) took me almost as long as the rest of the game! im happy i did it, but i feel ur pain. L1 and X like a muthafucker...i tried everything else so dont bother. seriously...6 hours and this is the only method that works

@ROYALTEEEE1 It might worth trying a few of the alternative strategies, proposed in the comments. One is to block the attack, timing it so you can knock them back with the counter attack. Another method is to use Cyclone of Chaos (L1 + Square) and Achilles Flip (Right analogue stick + X) to try and be always moving and on the attack.

At first i thought that Golden Trophy was going to be a piece of cake ;9 at first it seemed so... Until challenge 8, well it turned out to be quite easy with L1 and O.
But little i knew that there was fucking hell on earth waiting for me 2 challenges away.
Make the platform raise?! What can be so hard!?! :DD Well soon i found out! After like 2 merciless hours of flying off that stinking platform, this video decented from heaven... Jump + L1+X (and LUCK!) Still took me S O M E time...

The two goats spawn on the left side. STand between them and rotate back and forth and you can knock them off on the first L1+X almost every time. Did this in about 45 seconds it was so easy I just did it until the platforms were level and walked across.

A quick tip to keep your sanity while trying to beat this challenge, because it WILL take you a LOT of tries...
I kept "Who's Line Is It Anyway" running in the background. It is REALLY helpful to have something funny like that going, because your sanity is more than likely going to be threatening to run away after trying this challenge for the 100th time...

Just beat this challenge after 6 hours (split up over two days). I tried almost every strategy that there is, with varying success, but what finally worked for me was exactly what bystanderg has posted here, use L1 + X to launch yourself and enemies into the air and then quickly hit L1 + X again.
I found that I could often get two or three Apollo's Offensives off while in the air. What seemed to work the best was to aim your attacks almost solely at the satyrs.

Thanks GOD i am through with this. Today I achieved the "Ill take the Physical Challenge" Trophy and will NEVER touch those again. I almost wrecked my Dualshock3 and went postal :D
I used L1+X and everytime I evaded also X to launch the Enemies in the air.
