It's funny that neither the Genesis nor the SNES version followed the movie all that much. Sega did a little bit more, but still had enemies and scenes that were never in the movie. Good looking game though! I own the Genesis version.

I beat it. However, the final boss (Ivan Oose) was freaking hard! After you beat him, you had to get ur beat up self away from the place cause it was blowing up or something and when ur at the final place to escape, u got to fight a bit and eventually, the arm of a megazord grabs u and then u watch the place explode.

I think I read somewhere that it some a 36-year-old DJ who lives in his grandmother's attic. He made the music using only old sardin cans, a battered sousaphone and three metal shelves he found during a crack binge, apparantly. And a computer of some sort, but it's still quite well done. You can buy his CD on eBay. He has an EP out.

I agree, if you listen to the old power rangers theme Zordon tells alpha to recruit teenagers with attitudes, but non of them had any "real" attitudes then, just a bunch of nice kids. It might be because they did'nt want to glorify gangs or something. The ratings board was harsher back then.

this SNES MMPR game is the only one with Tommy in it, too bad Tommy didn't appear in the previous MMPR game as the Green Ranger along with Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, and Kimberly, I would have loved to have used the Dragonzord and seen how the Green Ranger was designed in that game, Tommy as the Green Ranger only comes out in the Genesis version

This game was MUCH better than the first, but that's not saying a whole lot... It's a decent side scroller that does have some great parts, namely the escape sequence after you beat Ivan Ooze. The Bulk and Skull bit before the end credits was hilarious, with Rocky and Tommy beating the hell out of them. All in all an okay game.
