I have 2 sphynx kittens and let me tell you, they are wonderful. They love to cuddle and play. I have never been so happy in my life to have 2 gorgeous girls purr on my lap. I love cats, when i found out i was allergic I went and did a 'snuggle test' with a sphynx. I am not allergic to them, its a miracle. I love these kittens to death.

@DoctorLazers: actually the sphynx tends to build up a lot of oil on their skin and need to be bathed about once a week. In hairy cats the oil coats the fur but as this breed is "hairless" (not really as they usually have a touch of fuzz that makes them nice and soft) the oil needs to be washed off. That much regular bathing tends to makes the sphynx pretty amicable to water.

No - it's not naturally evolved. It was actually viciously inbred to loose its fur in that manner and it is neither attractive, nor normal. Cats have fur for a reason - they go outside (unless you're cruel enough to keep a cat in the house 24/7- or unless you have to due to it having no natural protection and warmth- aka Snake cat here) Humans lost their fur naturally. Next time I see a furless lion or tiger - I'll concede!
