Oregon per, Ayers is NOT a bogus issue. He was not a 60's domestic terrorist he was a 60's,70's and 80's then he switched to just terrorist advocate with statements made in the 90's & 2001. BOTH Obamas have know Ayers & Dohrn since Michelle and Dohrn worked together at Sidley Austin which was right after Dohrn got out of prision for refusing to testify in the BRINKS JOB ROBBERY & MURDER because it was her friends that did it. NOT A BOGUS ISSUE!

The Republicans' passion for deregulating the financial "industry" is what triggered the current economic crisis and financial meltdown. Now, to distract our attention from our rapidly shrinking paychecks, pensions, and available credit, the Bush-McCain-Palin ticket have resorted to outrageous claims and fear mongering. All the Republicans have to offer in this election is fear and hatred -- which are two very powerful emotions.

Ayers is a bogus issue, raised by McCain Republicans who can't defend their record.
In 1995, Obama was asked by community leaders in Chicago to head a board that oversaw a large grant that Ayers had won funding for.
Obama did that job well and, in the process, won the respect of his board and the Chicago community.
If Palin had read the article, she'd know "Obama Has Met Ayers, but the Two Are Not Close". Google it.
