When Djokovic does imitations of other players, it's all in good fun. It's out of the court. Sometimes the people ask for it for their amusement. He's known for doing it. But you see, what Roddick said was discrediting. It's a poke at a tennis player's career. Shame the crowd booed Nole. I can't say if it would've been better had he not acknowledged Roddick's insult. Maybe he should've let the match tell it all, but sometimes it's better to take a stand. :) Go tennis.

i love djokovic and is one of the few players that applaud their opponents when they have a great point.also, when his opponent calls a challenge and if djokovic knows the ball is not worth challenging for the other player, he will tell the judge that it is OK.therefore, djokovic's opponent didn't waste the challenge. everyone seems to notice djokovic's so called "arrogance".djokovic and roddick missunderstood each other, they worked it out and let's move on. both guys are good guys.

I know this is one little comment and he will never read this but I want to offer my support to Djokovic. He didn't do anything wrong. It's cool to see someone stand up for themselves. Who could take 20,000+ boos to say what they think is right? Aside from all this trouble, he is a spectacular tennis player - let's not forget. I think he was always respectful to other players and charming to the media, it's just that he can be feisty when crossed.

If there's one thing we've seen in 2008 it's been a great year for Tennis and for Gentlemen. Look at all the classy interviews they've had post matches. If Djokovic wants to be held in high regard like the world number 3 player, then he should take some cues from the number 1 and 2 players and be a class act. I agree with you, but unless your going to get everyone in the crowd to sign a legal clause of not annoying the sports men, its something which is very hard to control. So best to ignore it. You will always have half wits in the crowd, more so at night after having a few that think the rules dont apply to them. Best for the players not to play up to it and ignore it. TRUTH: Yes, what Djokovic said at the end of the match was probably better off not said. He would have retained a better image and everyone would not be so damn hysteric as they are now. he was obviously very angry with Roddick. But honestly, Roddick shouldnt have said what he did. That was completely unnecessary. But it worked out for Djokovic in the end! Theyre good friends normally... the crowd was just upset that their favorite and last hope for an american US Open 08 winner went out a bit too early for their liking...
This whole thing is blown way out of proportion in my opinion.
