Im pretty sure i saw it on the 14th....but his mum was in the audience in tears blowing him kisses, maybe it was the 24th then and i got my dates crossed

He contends with the best - saw him peforming it a weak before, gained a full standing ovation, was simply a phenominal Jean Valjean, couldnt believe he was understudy, best voice ive ever heard on the west end

@lemesos100 Well, he's definitely got one of the best voices for Valjean that I've heard, yes. I'm sorry to ask, but do you mean a "week" before? Because I'm absolutely sure he wasn't on as Valjean week before this.

@hoursofpallor I'm pretty sure i saw it on the 14th of April and his mum was in a box and he kept blowing her kisses. She was in floods........but maybe i have my dates crossed and it was the 24th. Know he was a swing, and had played Valjean, Javert and Enjoloras.....maybe i'm mistaken but still amazing!

@lemesos100 I'm absolutely sure this was the 24th and that Killian was not on as Valjean on the 14th of April... Jonathan Williams played Valjean that day. Interestingly, Jonathan was alternate Enjolras and understudy Javert a couple of years ago and has understudied Valjean since summer 2008, and his mum might just have been in that night, so do you think it may have been him?
