Yay, another fanboy. If you want to play that game, PS3 sucks and a well-made computer destroys the PS3. You don't get the RELEASES. PC does. You don't get the GRAPHICS. PC does. I've had my PS2 since like 4 months after it came out. My Xbox 360 has been sent into the shop twice in like a year, and my PS2 hasn't had a single problem EVER. I love my Xbox so much more than my PS2, but when that insane next gen machine gives way to it's extreme over complication, I'm always playing me some NHL2K7 or Final Fantasy 10 on the old black box.
My PS1 still works fine, too. My computer is a peice of shit, but that's my fault for having a cheap ass computer.
hey i have a wii and i'm not afraid to admit it. at the time it was the cheapest thing on the market and they made it look good and since u couldn't try it urself cuz they didn't have demos at the store yet i believed them when they said that it really got u into the game. but now i understand thats bullshit. the wiimote only responds to certain things and the games suck. they're not different from gamecube games. the ps2 probably has better graphics and it came out like 9 years ago
wow a good review for this game. the gt one was horrible. they gave it a 7.2! thats bs. this game deserves a 4/5. i hate the scale of 1-10 thing it just makes it more complicated. but yea this games awesome. controls could be better but its not horrible. it has a good ammount of guns but i hope in the next game there's tons more so that way there's more customization. but i love the weapon selection they already have. if u have 2 controllers or a psn or xboxlive account get this game

Sure the game is short, and AI isn't the best, but this game is fucking fun, it is also very funny. The best co-op game i have ever played (eat your heart out Gears of War 2). Anybody know when the sequel is suppose to come out? I heard it was announced, but not the release date.
December or november of this year man..I cant wait for it. New features like civilian options/more destruction/more weapons/longer campaing...cant FUCKING WAIT.
i've only played it once but from that one experience i give it a 5. its really fun and the idea of pimping out weapons is awesome. i only played the xbox version though so i didn't have to deal with the sixaxis since i was at my friends house. when i'm playing it on my playstation i don't mind a little big of motion sensing.
One thing that I'm amazed they didn't do for with the single player was let you instantly switch between characters so one is left for aggro while you always switch to the one doing the difficult task like flanking or dragging the injured one to cover. Leave dumb tasks like tanking/aggro to the AI.
So basically if it's not co-op, the game should switch to a mini-squad mechanic like Star Wars: Republic Commando giving specific orders + switching between roles.
To put it bluntly, everthing about this game in single-player angered me. Your AI partner would either be doing nothing, rushing enemies and getting himself hurt, or spinning in circles. However, co-op was excellent, and it was really where the game shined. If they made the online multiplayer a little more like story mode in terms of weapon selection, it would've been a great game.

picked it up for $20, it was very worth it. You have to adjust to the controls, once you do that then it's pretty damn fun.
Downfall I found was getting money and buying upgrades was waaay too easy. It's much more entertaining co-op with an actual person than the AI.

Three questions: 1 - Is it worth getting if you don't have XBL? 2 - Still without XBL, is the game alright for achievements? 3 - With local play, can you still customize all the stuff?

Sure the game is short, and AI isn't the best, but this game is fucking fun, it is also very funny. The best co-op game i have ever played (eat your heart out Gears of War 2). Anybody know when the sequel is suppose to come out? I heard it was announced, but not the release date.

This game wasn't that bad. I wouldn't buy it but it was a fun game to play. I am happy I have friends to borrow these types of games.

i've only played it once but from that one experience i give it a 5. its really fun and the idea of pimping out weapons is awesome. i only played the xbox version though so i didn't have to deal with the sixaxis since i was at my friends house. when i'm playing it on my playstation i don't mind a little big of motion sensing.

One thing that I'm amazed they didn't do for with the single player was let you instantly switch between characters so one is left for aggro while you always switch to the one doing the difficult task like flanking or dragging the injured one to cover. Leave dumb tasks like tanking/aggro to the AI.
So basically if it's not co-op, the game should switch to a mini-squad mechanic like Star Wars: Republic Commando giving specific orders + switching between roles.

To put it bluntly, everthing about this game in single-player angered me. Your AI partner would either be doing nothing, rushing enemies and getting himself hurt, or spinning in circles. However, co-op was excellent, and it was really where the game shined. If they made the online multiplayer a little more like story mode in terms of weapon selection, it would've been a great game.

First Army of Two sucked though, I mean sure AI was pretty well done to help cover, but I mean it took way to long to raise money for upgrading guns. Easy to beat as well, since it was pretty obvious when are where enemies would come from.

im fine with ea they mostly make deacent games and army of 2 has a lot of interesting ideas but none of them where carried out well becase of poor core gameplay and an unengading plot gears of war on th other hand tottaly naild team baced commbat and has a near flawless cover system
