I really do wanna believe it, it is amazing...she only says a couple words and they do sound a little funny so that's not the part that trips me up, the few words she says there's no accent, and accent is formed by the shape of the mouth, so her mimicking others would create a similar accent to those she's around...my problem is if she was a lip reader, how did she understand what the person was saying when the nurse said "can you hear me?" and she's crying in her hands and nods yes?

i suspect its fake because she seems to have a well toned american accent- u ONLY pick them up when u learn to speak by reference to how others speak. hence potentially fake. anybody able to verify this? or is some asshole going to tell me i'm ignorant because he wants to believe a nice story.
