This movie is easily in my time five Will Ferrel movies. I hated Napolian Dynamite, but I love the guy from that movie, John Heather, he is funny in everything BESIDES Napolian Dynamite which I think in itself is funny because that was his big break out movie in which he became main character material.

nobody cares about these two douches judging movies,but jon heders career has taken off, working w./Ben Stiller,Billy Bob,W.Ferrell, etc.,and Will has nothing left to prove,so who are the losers here?the ones talking about homophobia,or two great comedians/actors who made this movie gross over $150 mil worldwide?and heders characters in When in Rome/Scoundrels/Nap.Dyn./and this movie are so totally different,these guys are not worthy really of the typing I'm doing,and shant watch them again

It was funny and very entertaining Comedy movie. Will Ferrell and Jon Heder worked brilliantly together. 'Blades of Glory' is definitely one of the most entertaining and memorable Comedies of the past decade (along with Meet the Fockers, Heartbreakers, Miss Congeniality, Knocked Up and Freaky Friday)

Just for those who don't know: Matinee is when you pay half price, where I live 5 or 6 dollars (they recently raised it which is why I don't go anymore and rent instead). Not all movies are shown at matinee some or showed only at night or both.

Listen to the audio commentary of Talladega Nights ("25 years later") they ask Will Ferrell what failed projects he made after Talladega and they say "you make that ice skating movie." and Will says "Yes...and then I made Talladega Nights 2....some did help ruin my career." and he didn't sign on for this till after Talladega Nights came out on dvd..so thats pretty funny.
