Wicked sick blade imo. The one I want is the Tracker 2 ONLY because it's smaller. Since the entire thing is smaller it becomes legal as an EDC (Every Day Carry) though I'm not sure I would...lol.

check the RedScorpionSix site again the make a new model called the "EVO" it's a little shorter but, has the same blade shape and still in the $200-$300 range.

I bought this over a year ago for only $249.00. Way better than my Tom Brown Tracker! And this Dave Beck design was used in the movie "the Hunted." The best and high quality always go up in price.

As I've said before when I got my Tom Brown Tracker...I was disappointed. Nuff said.

Tom Brown was a technical advisor on the movie but, his knife was never in the movie. The Blade (star in the featured film) was a Dave Beck design.

It is interesting to look at from a artistic point of view, but as far as being a good usable knife I can see a lot of short comings in the design, the most obvious would be the big offset in the cutting edge, not only being a horrible snag point, but I bet it is a real bitch to re-sharpen....

Tom Brown had little to nearly nothing to do with the final outcome of the knife known as the WSK. Which is the version you see in the Hunted film. When Tom created his Tracker blade. He could not use the Beck design as it was not for public use. Hence the change in its original shape. Sorry m1grand10 but your totally wrong on this issue. The RS6 version is the best production version I have seen or used based off the original WSK BECK design. The Tracker is a brick in real world comparison.

It comes under the category of Wilderness Survival Knife...so camping, jungle survival, bushcraft, etc...

The wicked sawtooth back is about 1/2"-1" too close to the tip although still functional. RedScorpionSix addresses this in the "Raven WSK." Watch campingcoffees video...click link in side-bar. He explains all the features and does a side-by-side comparison with the Tops Tom Brown Tracker.

And for me I don't go camping or do bushcraft...so all my knives are just weapons...lol!

Yea, I just checked it out and you are absolutely right. The Raven is a far more knife for the money than TB's. If I'm not mistaking, seems campingcoffee has a Raven and your is a Predator.
