dgr64, I think you're talking about the integrale 16 valve model's debut in this rally.

this was the integrale's debut,the 16v version wasn't seen until the 1989 sanremo.
prior to this rally,it was the delta hf turbo,as seen on sweden 88.

now theres an event, and country i know quite well, the dusty SS sounds stupid, but if not mistaken those where the first times they did SS´s
