@SladeForelly Probably not, because most of the Humans that are in Half Life 2 were children during the Resonance Cascade and Seven Hour War. And the odds that any that remained living that weren't children and were also HECU are very low. We only have a 100% that Shephard is alive and apart of the HECU. And agreed, Shephard needs to make some form of a comback.

I do think the Op4 expansion campaign is better than the original Half-Life campaign. The only reason I got into the Half-Life Universe was because Opposing Force made myself have interest in it.

And yes, I agree, Blue Shift is horrible in my honest opinion, I really hate it. Didn't even bother finishing it, was just like a Half-Life 1 map pack...

Hello, a strange thing happened 2 me.

I bought half-life and installed it, it had old graphics and when you open the game it had a black screen with moving words in the back.

Then I installed Steam and when I entered the product code it started downloading a lot of games 4 me, which weren't there when I first installed hl and also when I played hl through steam it had gorden freeman with a shotgun picture and the graphics were better. Can anyone tell me why?

probably the only reason they have not made Oposing force 2 is because they are trying to finish gordens story (aka HL2, EP.1, EP.2 and EP.3) before they move to shepards.

Actually, Valve considers Opposing Force and Blue Shift as non-canon. So while they may use content from it in future episode if it interests them, there's no plans for an Opposing Force 2 or anything that resembles that.

Mind you, I do find it plausible that they'll make a reference or two to Adrian Sherperd in future episodes.

I feel about this whole HL series that Adrian Shepard is absolutely my favourite "char" and that gordon is some kinda bad/good guy in the middle...he makes somethig really bad and tries to repair it.

I love this trailer, and the sound file in the beginning. Its also the sound file heard coming out of the firey red portal at the end of the game.

Also, Shepard will definitely reappear, because the nuke-featured in OpFor gets used in the canonized Blue shift. Since both Alyx and Gordon were "plucked" from black mesa, I could sense that he couldve done the same to Shepard
