@teloyquude the game play is basicly like every spiderman game you played...except you can grab ofc...but you there is action based combat so no...click that to lunge.... or click that to do that attack...there are combos you do with the mouse.

@TwilightAngel35 Thanks for your description. I wonder why they don't put out a video capture of the actual game so people can see for themselves instead of having to rely on helpful commenters. Maybe they are hoping that people will think the game looks like this so they will be more likely to dl it.  I guess this is a pretty common thing in the gaming industry, but it seems like a not a very helpful, and even somewhat deceptive practice imho.

But while I agree Champions online has a pretty bad environment and story, I just prefer the really indepth character creation. And Batman didn't kill Joker in the first Keaton movie, Joker got a gargoyle roped around his leg and the weight made him slip off a rope ladder and he died that way. It's like you're saying Batman shot Joker, or pushed Joker off of the clock tower balcony himself. Batman was responsible for the death of Joker, but he didn't do it.

It doesn't matter if it's a movie or a comic it's a continuity just like comics have, and using "comic vs film" doesn't work here at all since we're talking about a game.

Plus the inclusion of HQ implies Batman:TAS, since HQ wasn't in the comics prior to her appearances in TAS. In TAS, a famous episode that also had a comic, Mad Love, Joker is fooled into saving batman over possibility of Harley Quinn killing him instead of Joker killing him, and even before that he goes on through dozens of plans and deathtraps to determine which would be best for what he literally calls "The Death of Batman"

He wants to kill him. He just doesn't have the skill.
