  • Beef galore, no... fresh meat, no... shrimp deliveries, no... To your doorstep carcass, there it is! Bobby, pass the phone, please!

  • i never really thought this before about turkey vultures but he's really cute!

  • I know that nobody uses a pay-phone anymore, but you don't have to take your frustration on the yellow pages, Nero!

  • Wow, 37 yrs. old. That's the oldest one I've heard of.......Thanks!

  • Love the symbolism as technology and social media has killed the yellow pages

  • he wanted to save that pizza ad

  • Vultures aren't so bad like many people think they help clean up road kill and stuff. I kinda like them especcially baby vultures.

  • does he puke or does he not know as he has no one threatening him in captivity?

  • Thats the cutest thing ive seen all day <3

  • I can imagine what he got for his 25th birthday.

  • Strangely, I feel like doing the same thing sometimes.

  • LOL!!! that was soooo funny 8D!! i loove turkey vultures!!

  • @DeathShamans Did you even read the description of the video? "This is Nero, an education bird at the University of Minnesota's Raptor Center. He is an adult turkey vulture and imprinted on humans.

He is normally housed outside, but the crew was making some adjustments to his housing and he was tethered indoors."

  • That phonebook never stood a chance.

  • nomnomnom

  • vulture in the house ?????

  • 0:16

Look at how precise it is. I love studying this animals, but it never ceases to amaze me how power and strategic these birds can be.

  • its very pretty...

  • Nice and interesting animals

  • Beautiful bird.

  • He likes to stay busy.

  • Interesting creatures!

  • I love raptor, this guy has ripped well into my heart.

  • Do these birds ever hunt, or do they live off garbage their entire life?

  • They are scavengers and do not hunt. Vultures do not eat garbage, they eat carrion (anything that's dead). They are scavengers and do not hunt.

  • amzing birds. without scavengers like these the world would be waist high in rotting flesh.

  • Nero! we're the same age bud! Hope we both live long healthy lives.

  • I live in South Florida and love to watch these things take off and look for thermals - then soar like crazy. They are beautiful ... when they are flying.

  • I thought that Turkey Vultures were just scavenging birds that ate exclusively carrion. Apparently not I guess lol

  • Aww cute x3

  • I didn't realize they lived so long. I got to watch a pair grow up from hatchlings in an old abandoned building a few years ago. I'd check in on them about once a week, and they grew FAST.

  • He wants to know why you're so interested in watching him do that!! ;)

  • what a sweet animal! :) He's really tearing that up isn't he? Nice vid!

  • lol it was funny when he ripped the page :)

    i love turkey vultures

i love across the street from a park and sometimes when they come around i just sit in my porch and watch them soar

and on my trip to arkansas i counted how much vultures i saw on the way up there...about 53...i was amazed and how much i saw...and thats just on the way up there

  • for some reason this is really funny

  • in a funny way they are kinda cute

  • Zopilote!!! XD(Thats how we call them in Mexico hehehe)

  • how old do vultures normally live up to?
