Florida is deeper, faster, and has leadership. These are qualities FSU lacks.

FSU's entire OL is returning intact. If you wish, you can review FSU's game against UF last year to see Harvin and the rest getting tackled from behind. That means they got chased down. UF may have better speed based on 40 yard dash results, but I'll go with game footage instead. Clearly UF has lacked leadership since 23 players have been arrested since 05. But, as usual, I could care less what someone named "BlobbyBowdenGeezer" thinks anyway.

UF troll to answer your question: Yes, Bobby Bowden and the better part of the FSU coaching staff has been the problem for quite some time. They have one foot out of the door already and Jimbo will be at the helm soon. I'm not expecting and IMMEDIATE MNC for FSU, but UF and FSU rivalry will actually be a decent game again.  I miss getting psyched about the game. The last couple years I've just hoped for a tolerable score... hasn't happened recently unfortunately.

Florida has padded its record and stats by only playing within the SEC. When was the last time UF played a road game outside the SEC? FSU has been recently to Southern Cal, the Meadowlands, Colorado, and will head to BYU, Oklahoma and Air Force in the next few years. Why is UF scared? Even Georgia went to Ariz. State this year.

As far as I can tell, the last time UF played out of conference, out of state was the 1991 season when they travelled to Syracuse. Apparently UF has had the #1 hardest schedule a bunch of years since then, but I think it's lame that every team in the SEC (and pretty much everyone else in major college FB) except UF travels. I cant' figure out why. Oh well, there's a lot about UF I don't getl like why the "gator" band always plays the theme from Jaws. Jaws actually is a shark, not an alligator.
