  • Psycho 3 is visually stunning, what with all the garish colors and weird religious imagery, i loved the opening prolouge at the convent

  • What? There is a Psycho 3? I'm so gonna watch it!

  • leczorn I don not think that Stfano was wrote it ambiguoulsly to tell you the truth and from what I heard he did like the seconed one

  • @TheMaaafaka buy the first one. ALSO parts 2 3 and 4 come in a triple pack i suggest buying it too if you see it

  • Psycho 4 was a little out ther I dont see them leting Norman out a 2 time

  • @chism26 It should be noted that "Psycho IV" was written by Joseph Stefano, as was the original, and that Stefano disliked II and III, which he had nothing to do with making. Norman's release at the beginning of IV could be interpreted as his release from his first institutionalization. I think Stefano intentionally wrote it ambiguously so that one could take it as a direct sequel to either the first or third movies.

  • the best kiling in psycho 2 is the Knife in the throat

  • psycho 2 was alot bettere then this one sidjustice

  • Spoiler alert;;; the end was my fav part when that old lady said she was his real mom and he rat poisoned her and hit her in the head w/the shovel..

  • @zeno57 You're right... That part was insane!

  • i honestly thought the sequels would be trash and just staight horrible but i was completly wrong. both psycho 2 and 3 are fantastic and have their own little twists that always keeps you in awe like the first one (but obviously not as good as the 1st) . i havent seen the 4th but i plan on watching it, i hope its good :)

  • for me it ends after this movie Psycho 4 I dont count for the fact that it's to flaud but yeah I love the Psycho Trilogy and the ending to this one was awesome Miss you Perkins you were awesome as Bates and FUCK THE REMAKE VINCE VAUGHN SUCKED AND WILL NEVER BE BATES

  • This is such a cool movie. I must have seen it about 30 times and am not sick of it yet.

  • @TheMaaafaka

Definetly DEFINETLY buy the first part. You have to see the first part cause its the best!

  • i think 2 better than this one. just saying

  • I love all the original Psycho films.

  • Psycho 8.5/10

    Psycho II 10/10

    Psycho III 6/10

  • @yournotrandom

care to elaberate on why you think the sequel (which isnt half-bad) is better than the original???(which is a fucking MASTERPIECE)

  • Don't get me wrong the 1st one is amazing! Like really good I just really liked the second one more. haha

  • @yournotrandom

y though? i mean the second one i think is very underrated as a movie and is a very good watch, but the first one!!!!! sweet fuck! made by the master of supsense amazing well shot, geuise score and perfect acting from anthony perkins and of course the shower scene i couldnt shower for a month after that movie :P (note that i was 7 at the time )

  • Well I said I loved the first and I love Alfred Hitchcock! His films are great. I just liked how they did the second one. That the whole twist that he wasn't crazy and then bam! at the end!

  • @yournotrandom

ah true that was a very good twist but nothing beats the mind-fuck of an ending that the first one had XD

  • Yeah it was crazy!

  • Excellent movie, and it would have been even better if the filming hadn't been rushed. From what I understand Tony Perkins wanted to do even more with the story.

  • i think this movie was great but drifted a little bit of what psycho is really like but just barely but psycho 2 kept the same theme

  • Underrated classic. Great acting, Anthony Perkins behind the camera and homages to the original. I loved it.

  • Why was the scene from 0:21-0:40 (Norman going up the stairs, Mrs. Bates sayng "Norman, is that you?" and Norman responding "Yes, Mother. It's me" as he smiles at the camera) cut from the film?

  • YOU HAVENT GOT THE GUTSSSS BOYYYYYYY!!!!!!

  • Which sequel was the best?

  • @CutandPrintFilms the second one (in my opinian)

  • What a terrible trailer for a great movie. It just goes to show you the skill of a good editor. I'm a HUGE Psycho fan, always have been but this trailer would not make me wanna see the movie!

Check out the trailer for Psycho II to see how it should be done!

......we all go a little mad sometimes.......

  • @MrIrishdude you didnt like the trailer? it sold the movie for me. when i first found out they made part 2 to a classic classic movie 22 years later i was really pissed off but after i saw the trailer i thought it looks really really good. without watching this trailer i probably never would have watched the movie.

  • @weirdscience85 you would watch brokeback mountain.. haha jk

  • Psycho III is a terrific film. To me, its a lot better than part 2. Great acting and directing from Anthony perkins. And jeff fahey was really good in it too.

  • I didn't like this as much as Psycho II, but I still liked it. It has an absolutely captivating backdrop, with *the* Norman Bates, which keeps it from being just another 80's slasher flick. The plot could have been better, though. Some of the scenes are very unsettling, while others are actually quite heartbreaking.

  • @weirdscience85 I didn't like the first psycho either there wasn't enough killings lol

  • Dayum....I was rooting for him to be sane like he was trying to be in the second one but I guess there would be no Psycho if he wasn't psycho lol

  • MOOOOOOOTHHHEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • Does anyone think these sequels are unnecessary?

  • I think he looks so cool in Psycho III..especially, on that shot, he wears nike when he caught a little bird ; ]

  • Anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the background music??

  • @thechaz83 It's from Jaws 3D. It sounds like a cue used in the film, but the album has music that was recorded before the film was re-edited. So there's no way to get it at the moment.

  • @untamedaggression Was it really? which scene?

    Got any bibliography?

    Thanks

  • @ghayooragain @ghayooragain It sounds like music from the scene where they're chased by the baby shark. It's been a while since I watched it and I'm more familiar with the album. There's a lot of details in the liner notes of Intrada's now OOP CD release.

This is all assuming you're talking about the music in the latter half of the trailer...

  • Comment removed

  • @untamedaggression ok , I'm interested to see the Jaws 3D score, I can't find it online

  • @ghayooragain The CD is sold out, you'll probably have pay an inflated price for it on eBay or Amazon Marketplace.

The music itself is on YouTube, but it's not exactly the music as heard in the film.

  • @ghayooragain It's the track Shark Chase and Dolphin Rescue, on YouTube as "Shark Chase part 2." It's not letting me link directly to it, but search for "Jaws 3D soundtrack" and it's there.

  • @untamedaggression ok I've now got the Jaws 3D soundtrack composed by Alan Parker, so far nothing sounds like it, despite that it's very loud and actionpacked and this one is quite and slow

  • @ghayooragain Well as I said, parts of the score were re-recorded before the film was released, and the album features the original music before these sessions, so barring a complete re-release of the entire sessions (which is unlikely, at least for a good few years), the album is the closest you're gonna get to it, unfortunately.

  • His mother is a sick bitch. Having emotional and unhealthy attachment can plague a person's sanity, thank you very much!! Here's my message to his mother: GET OVER YOURSELF AND MOVE ON!!

  • @lisany749 Do you know ANYTHING about psycho?

  • I like Jeff Fahey - brilliant actor

  • The original 'Psycho' is obviously a classic and it's one of my favorite films. I thought #2 was a decent sequel but I didn't like #3 at all. I would have preferred a story that explored more of Norman's family background, especially with the revelation in #2 about Mrs. Spool being his real mother. They could have included Norman's father as a character and/or maybe even a brother or a sister.

  • I loveeeeddd part 2. I saw 3 years ago, and I bought the dvd with all 4, so we'll see.

  • "Its perfectly natural for a boy to love his mother"

  • "You haven't got the guts boy"

  • I have 2 say i love them all 1 - 4 but part 2 is the best for me.

  • i havent seen the movies, but which are the best?

  • In my opinion, the original (of course!) and part 2.

  • origanals rock! :D thanks for info

  • 1 till 4

  • Great movie and great franchise.

  • Diana Scarwid!

  • This one is actually pretty bad. I liked 1 and 2 the best.

  • Are you kidding. This movie was awesome!!

    A great 80's slasher movie

  • I loved it! I loved 1-4. The whole remake with Vince Vaughn playing Norman Bates however didn't work. Well, in my opinion. I'm just used to seeing Vince funny. And When I saw him in that movie....it was just a little funny. lol. Not scary or anything. I miss Anthony Perkins. He was a great actor.

  • @PNOMICA I agree 100% with you!

  • @PNOMICA - Vince Vaughan is funny? Must have missed that one

  • I love this film.

  • My older brother used to show this preview to me all the time when I was around 4 years old, because he recorded it. Fucking thing gave me nightmares, traumatized me, my older brother is being a real fucking asshole! Interesting how allot of my anxiety stems from being horrified as a kid. A good thing my brother's a great guy, but what a fucking douchebag he was to me way back when, that dumbshit.

  • ive watched 12 and 4. im going to watch 3 tomorrow. can't wait.psycho is THE best horror EVER!!!

  • Part 3 is my fav besides 1!

  • but the first Psycho of alfred Hicthcook the anothers sucks

  • I actually liked this better than 2 but not #1 (total classic). Good kills in this movie. Nice supporting cast, too. Perkins did well directing this.

  • I watched this last night.I thought it was very creepy and well done bbut i thought 2 was better.I think 1,2 and 4 were the best.3 was pretty good but it really scared with all the darkness and creepy music in the movie.Heck i felt like i was Norman Bates.

  • Yes same here what I also think too

Well anyway how did you come across Psycho same like me?!

    I love PsychO!!!!!

    HEhehe

    Bye!

  • It all started with Hitchcock.I started watching his movies and came across Psycho and liked it and i decied to watch the sequels.1,2 and 4 were the best.3 was a well done film but 2 was better.Plus 3 creeped me out.

  • Yeah your right not better than two but a nice film!

    Bye!

  • Wow quite similar to mine too

  • @SidJustice1 No way in the world part 3 was better than part 2!

but also that's your opinion ;)

  • Can't wait to see this.I ordered it off of ebay.Just waiting for it now.I love 1 and 2.I thought 4 wasn't bad.

  • Its not better than two but is better than 4

  • Thanks.

  • I enjoyed this film very much

  • "Scratch my belly and my leg'll shake!"

  • Anthony perkins is very talented, people need to be more positive x

  • This was a great film.!

  • That trailer was awesome as XD

  • This was a great movie too, Perkins is great, and in here his hair was plenty shorter than in the two previous films...

  • 'Watch the Guitar!"

  • oh dear oh dear. hitchcock must be spinning in his grave!!

  • no...no...he isnt

    dead people cant spin
