awesome setup.. I've found a whole say 250 watt panel is $600 to $700 here...
so I got curious and looked up broken cells.. turns out a 1kw (1000 watt) kit off ebay is $260... I figure thats more then worth just the time to solder them together.. since broken cells work the same, I'm going that route, cept its going right to a grid tie, I figure eithe way I'm saving, whether its in power or my meter going backwards when I'm not home :-)

Why not use 12 v. Batteries instead of 6 volt ? How much electricity costs do u figure youre saving each month with this system ? Thanks.
