I have researched over and over again but no-one seems to have what I am looking for, what I am searching for is the matter of music in Islam. My sister told me that Music was haram and only nasheeds and recitations of the quran was halal. I looked into it and the Qu'ran and the Hadith only say singing and 'musical instruments'. I like listening to dubstep, there is no singing and it isn't really made by an instrument. So what I'm asking is, is dubstep therefore halal?

yes osama is a made up name , the parents of osama made it up.not everything has to be a conspiracy. islam is NOT from god, if god was that great there would not have been so many difference in belief. every moslim has its on interpretation. if qu'ran is the word of god and god is the greatest why so many different beliefs ???? and there are far far far far more then 73/74 different streams of islam, islam is divers to the count of moslims that are in this world. please can someone awnser this

Allah let all the people do as they please, hence "freewill", we are all trying to find the same thing, peace with our creator, some go different directions, but eventually end up the same place. @killumunati ... that is because they understand the law well and when we take the opinion of several thousand of them and average it any error is negated as we know in mathematics. If some 1 or 2 random people get up and start saying that Qur'an asks to kill all nonMuslims indiscriminately (when it doesnt) than this is and has been rejected since they have a vast majority of more Highly qualified scholars who prove them wrong using reason from the revelation itself, and the majority is correct.
